-Would of fired off a blog earlier, but slowly recovering following the mass stampeed to get a pair of round ball shoes. It made Confederate Gen. R.E. Lee's troop raid of Gettyburg's shoe warehouses pale in comparison, plus the latter group was in a war for a couple of years. The gang going after Air Jorden gym shoes were like people filing into a pp voting booth establishment. I can only guess what the net sales at these stores were at the end of the day. At $180/pair maybe a third of the stampeeding herd paid full price, while the balance made a five finger discount and walk out In any case the inventory was purged.
- I wasn't in the melee per se, but just watching on the TV made me seriously ponder 1) were these folks human? 2)where did they get the green stamps from? 3) and if the mop was human, are we human still atop the food chain?

Mexican Pissing Match Postponed Two Months

-A minuscule victory for pp indeed, plus it implodes in just two months. If this is the progress towards solving our nation's major financials, this nation's people are in for a long nuclear winter.
-What is happening in Iraq today, after pp removes the last of the combat troops, was predicted by most all military generals, most CTPR and most LDP, but the wannabe leader in the WH wanted it his way. I worry about the folks, guards and contractors in the Green Zone. Will pp pull a Nixon Type retreival as staged in Siagon ?
-New unemployment filings for last week was only 364,000. You guessed it. Down from a after-the-fact projection of 368,000. Let's see, the Bush Recession aka the Great Recession was over in June, 2009, so what is happening now?
-GDP 3Q11 growth projected to be 2.8% readjusted later in quarter to be 2.0%, slid in at only 1.8%.
Finally... the Chevy Volt is costing taxpayers ~$250,000 per pop. They sell for net ~$35K after we the taxpayers give a ~$10K rebate. And you late Christmas shoppers... you can get one or more for your family and friends for there is instant delivery by the USPS. Hold it! My mistake FedEx. Those other guy are going to be disbanded in March 2012.

Imaginary tax cuts and additional unemployment benefits

-It escapes me just what pp and the LDP are trying to with the title matter? It appears that they will be content to just kicking the can over two months in the next Gregorian calander year. Their hope and change deferred a few days, hoping and more change will be better next year is insane. The blame game doesn't move reality one iota.
-The $ 15+ T debt and deficits will still be there come 2012, the only thing for sure is that it will grow like weeds in my yard, if nothing is done to prevent it.
-The Clinton party is over. Cutting spending across the board works in ever household that employs it. Why not the federal government?
-The great EU financial solution of yesterday is a myth. With only one country (Germany) of the 17 country combine, in Euros only, is like an inverted equilaterial triangle, the point of maximum pressure is where the sides come together at the bottom, that being Germany. Hopefully our jockey isn't going to bail out the EU ? With what?
-The only way to make the western world debt disappear in total, is a fate worse than failure, that being printing more money by the semi-loads, that drives up inflation like a rocket from the Cape. The results would be horrible.
-Scientist are saying the Shroud of Turin is real. The LDPs of the world will have something to say about this re-revelation.
-New hate crime in Amish country! Huh? Yep, cutting beards, as a punishment is being alleged by some to be a hate crime. What next?

To be or not to be!

-That is the question pp must decide and soon. So far he has elected to hid in the shadows the NV gunslinger, and Mother Morom's dress or pants suit. This middle class payroll tax break avg. $1,000 a year to a middle class family is small indeed (furthermore it's like stealing money from the SS piggy bank which results in the demise of another life net sooner). Plus to extending the unemployment benefits into infinity just digs the hole out in front of the WH infinity deeper, especially if there are no spending cuts to offset. Between the WH lack of leadership to the pissing match in congress we are heading into a southern Euro zone, i.e. PIIGS Plus nations of Europe sooner than later. Is this what the WH wants? Well that's what pp's handlers from Chicago apparantly want? Skating by till next year solves absoletely nothing. Its like a death row inmate getting a stay of execution, only to reach his or her maker a few days later. Reality does not take a holiday.

Thursday's Debate

-The CTPR debate last evening was the best ever. FNN did an excelent job coordinating.
-My wife was at the controls and she maintained a stready as she goes maneauver for the two hour. I think I have a convert for watching debates.
-Those candidates' who focused their responses on the current resident of the WH did well. Infighting was effective when employed.
-Early tallies for 1, 2, 3 are Gingrich, Romney and Paul. I thought Perry for third. The second hour for Paul was past his bed time. The others will fad on or by 01.03.12.
-Looks like Congress came to grips to keep the Treasury doors open 'till September 2012.
-pp will cave and sign off on the extension of the employee payroll tax holiday and extend unemployment benenfits for a year by swallowing the CTPR's Keystone pipe line pill. This will bode well for the CTPR in 2012.
-A recent AP poll shows pp re-election odds at 50-50 ??? His handling of the economy reflects a 39% approval while 60% disapprove. One wonders who are the 39%..."Occupy Wall St" across the country mop? Corzine types? One receiving a gov't pay check at the first of each month, for not working?

Chased up a tree again!

-Earl's boy got Dirty Harry and the LDP up a tree again with a House approved job bill. Has most things in bill that pp has been campaiging on. The big exception there is a provision that really start shovel ready construction by the thosuands immediately. Release the "Hold" on the Canadian to Gulf Coast oil pipe line NOW ! It also pits the EPA against the big labor who needs the jobs badly.
-Corzine to follow the ex-govener to the big house by mid-year next.
-pp and mamaO flew to Ft Bragg today to greet some of the returning warriers from Iraq and to direct them to the nearest unemployment districts.
-Perhaps this is the reason the US Postal Service put a "HALT" on overhauling this service until next year. The Postal Service will deficit spend $18B this fiscal year more than they receive from selling stamps. 80% of Postal service cost is labor and their entitlements
-Whatever the WH or the BLS report on new employment, new unemployment, the following ratio still holds. A 4:1 ratio people seeking jobs, to job availability remains constant.
-When McDonalds stock continues to ramp upward, and manufacturing companies stock has a tough time from sucking air, something fundimentally is wrong with this picture. Before pp and his "x" number of Czars appeared on the stage, LDP economists said we need to be a service based economy and not manufacturing (big labor sat on their thumbs, or continued to shake down onging companies for wage and benefits). Proof: Just look around for your self. We are in a global economy...

-Markets are down and continue to occiliate around zero grow. The EU and euro nations like a big anchor. They are having the same problems as the LDP in this country with controlling spending.
-Germany now calling the shots in Europe, the jockey's qualitative easing ain't gonna happen in Deutchland and it sure is not in the rest of the socialist states.
-Not so fast about the US economy gaining steam as unemployment claims dropped to nine month low, but this is the Christmas season. Spending usually goes up even in a tight economy during this time of year. One indicator that is brothersome is the credit card sales far out stripping the debit card purchases which on the surface is not good.
-Update: In my township, negotations with the Police department... agreed also to a three year pay freeze, and are participating in paying a % of their healthcare and pension just like the Fire/EMS signed up last week. This is what Gov. K wanted for the whole state.

pp dodged another war.

-The Pentagon reported earlier in the week, the loss of electronic control of a highly secret recon stealth drone over NE Iran. Officals reported the craft would not crash or self distruct. Most likely will make a soft landing when it runs out of fuel. Option given pp 1)Send in a chopper group to retreive the drone. 2)destory the drone by sending in a A-117. 3) send in a chopper group, with special forces to destroy the drone. All options focus to preclude the craft from falling into enemy hands. pp chose door 4) do nothing for fear above action could cause a war with Iran *. I suppose if the downed drone were in Pakistan he would not hestate
-So early on Thursday Iran puts the captured drone, in one piece, on exhibit. Iran doesn't have the capability to reverse engineer the drone for replication, but Russia and China do and will. Iran will receive a generous finders' fee from somebody.
- But I guess that's what Nobel Peace Prize winners do?

Only in California

-Gov. Jerry Brown D-CA, behind closed party doors with unions (no CTPR allowed) came up with a remedy to close the states' hugh deficts, only $3.7B this fiscal year. Strategy is to by-pass the CTPRs by getting 500M signitures on a petition by 2Q12 go directly to the people on election day 2012. Increase taxes on individuals making >$250K/yr by 1 %, 3 % on those earning $300K to 500K, and those >500K 2%. Increase sales tax to collect $7 B, plus close loopholes in state corporate tax code and spend $1.2B on renewable energy*. Here are some additional spending cuts that will go over well with CA taxpayers: shorter school year, cut allowances to state universities by untold millions, cut child care and services to disabled. Not withstanding all the above CA faces a $13B shortfall in the next fiscal year. You get some idea how deep the hole really is.
-*Then you have the EPA and greenpeople out in CA. also petitioning to close the remaining two nuclear reactors mox schnell, because what happened in Japan could happen in CA. The operative word is "could". No feasibility study suggests same. These two units generate 16% of the states electrical energy. If you add up all the electrical energy in CA. generated by solar and wind, one winds up with a net negative amount of energy created. The latter generates 1/4 of the 16% generated by the two nuclear stations. Consideration was given to the fact solar power is only generated when the sun shines and the wind turbines work when the wind blows, but from observation there is a lot of wind in CA. This maneauver, if sucessful, would put an even greater operating burden on CA's corporate and population. Reality check: just more corporate companies will fold up their tents, or move to other states, more likely to foreign lands. More people will be added to the unemployment lines, greater deficits and the wheel goes round and round.

-You know what annoys me, all those LDP fat cats, who before a mic or TV camera state they should pay their fair share of tax. They admit they are filthy rich and should be taxed more. Starting with Buffett, no not the parrot-head, but Warren and his ilk. Why don't CTPRs set up a TV slot for all channels to view the "signing of checks" by the types above. The Red Room at the WH would be the setting, before pp on a throne, surounded by his Czars with the Jockey with a bushel basket at pp right side. Minimum check amount would be a million dollars, with two billion checks garnering the gold medallion. Just a bronze, no silver, but gold metal madallion with a profile of pp embossed would be awarded to the approporate giver.
-Meanwhile pp, would cut all the socialism BS, and free the shackles of this great country's Consitution. It might be appropriate to send a copy of all 85 documents of the Federalist Papers, the precursor of the US Constitution to pp. But pp doesn't need these documents, for he is well aware of the effort put forth by John Jay,to be First Chief US Supreme Court, Alexander Hamilton ,to be first US Treasurer and James Madison, future fourth US President, since pp is and expert on the Constitution Law, since he was a professor of such, at the University of Chicago before becoming Ill. Progress has been slow, but now Congress must improve a small piece of my American Worker Bill...extend the 2% tax break to each working American and to extend the unemployment benefits...forever? No hint as to how this "handup" will be paid for. pp concluded, Congress has to pass this opportunity, especially at this time of year. Hinting the 1% ers move about their world as if nothing is wrong, which includes him, I guess.

-Fact check: The Zip was absoletly correct "this economy is lousy", but he did not go on to explain the pain we are experiencing is self induced by pp's policies. pp overstated the number of new job created at 140,000 Vs 120,000 stated by BLS earlier in the day. The reduction in the Rate of Unemployed 9.0% to 8.6% was attributable in part to new hires above, and the fact 315,000 people were dropped from the BLS rolls. Nothing was said about the seasonally adjusted 402,000 new filing for unemployment benefits. There are some 13 M (more like 15 to 17M) people out of work. As far as the 2% tax cut for working American is taken from the Social Security's employee's share, which mean this fund will crash sooner.
-Mathamaics is the only true science, but that excludes inside the I-495 beltway.

-Well, all of the US combact troops in Iraq are short timers, with last leaving by year's end. I wonder if pp would like to rethink his decision, but that was Bush's decision way back in 2008? Sure. Iran's forces are on the starting blocks ready to go.

MP to fix the problem with negotations. Let not your heart be strained, pp has announced he is withdrawing 33,000 combact troops by this time next year. (NATO by 7,000 troops). It is made up of a odd number of members so a consenus can be arrived. Whereas in DC, where all the smart people are supposed to be, running the largest corporation in this world, would ever conceive a committee consisting of 6 member each. All diametrically opposed to cut spending or not increase taxes (6 LDP vs 6 CTPR) and to top it off without a LEADER assigned. Our odd one was OOO (out of the office) on vacation or R&R, the latest to the far east Not even an agent representing the Leader and not the GI, was assigned. Obviously it was designed to fail from the get go. For pp it developed a platform, if of toothpicks, a talking point, when none otherwise exists.

The pilotless Super Committee.

-The Super Committee are following the lead of the PIIGS nations of the EU. We just can't cut spending...cost too many votes come Nov. next. Debt continues to be racked up in billion of $s a minute. Markets are tanking again. Really helps business managers plan for the there three year forecast, forget budget year. Heck, the WH has not had a budget since pp took office. Correction "W" had prepared the 2009 budget, as all outgoing presidents do, otherwise there wouldn't of been none for three.
-I guess pp and mamaO are back from their Far East vacation, mission accomplished. What were the accomplishments? Aaaaa, I pass, next question.
-To reinforce the Azzies commitment, pp moving 2,500 Combact Troops to occupy the Island nation.
-I bet algore is behind the recent greenpeople announcement that there has been a 39%increase in global CO2 levels since before the Industrial Revolution, year 1750 to 2010. These single point projection amuse me. For starters what were the global CO2 levels say 1600 to 1800. During the period noted, all of Europe was in a mini-ice age. In the meantime the $1.5T figure grows, and is is likely to something like $6-8 T. Both the House and Senate will be in CTPR control on that cold day in Janurary 2012 regardless who become president.

Every community from cities to the smallest villeges will have to do what they got under there mattresses. Just yesterday in my SW OH township, pink slips started to be issuesd, this time 6 cops, and 6 fireman or EMS are to go to reduce part of a $6M debt. No more pennies from heaven for a year, budget nazi.

They are looking for someone to take the camel herder's position, somebody like John Wayne. 2011. Well maybe not a blast off per se, but it will be a hugh explosion when the automatic triggers cut spending $600 B out of Domestic and Military budgets respectively by years' end. This is a Hail Mary event.
-The Former Goldman Sasks CEO, Former US Senator D-NJ, Former Governor of New Jersey D-NJ, and former CEO of MF Global, now unemployed, but soon heading for job security for 10 to 15 years min in prison...John Corzine. Seems MF Global went belly up too much Greek and Portagle/Italian bonds. There was or still is some $600 M also missing when police raided the MF Global offices.
-I was mistaken the other day, but I found out the truth: GM stills owes the US Treasury 9like you and me the tax payer some $26 B, not the $6.+ I reported. The current NYSE ticker price is far below the original IPO, so the Jockey will sit on it for awhile.

-Penn State U has a hugh problem. The Board of Trustees did the right thing in firing the President and the Head Football Coach Joe Paterno, others may follow. To have known the scandel existed since at least 2002 and do nothing is unforgiveable. How did these 40 some young boys get on the College Campus in the first place? Security must have know? Sad day for Penn State and college football in general. Perhaps since college sports in general generates such hugh somes of money it's greed in another profile. One wonders what other colleges and Universities have the similar problems?
-There are three Western world leaders that must go: 1) PM of Greece, 2) PM of Italy and 3)........Oops!

-Isn't it distrubing how the LDP media pounces on an individual for a lapses in presentation. NBC was the moderator. From the get go, NBC went to Cain's issue(s) and not to the principle US problem...the economy stupid. Purging the US Cabinet
of agencies better handled at the state level is in vogue.
-US needs more Cong. Joe Walsh R-IL, and quit beating up on the wrong institutions. The current housing problem, which is getting worse, was not created by the Banks or Wall St. rather the LDP in the 1990's by the Zipper, Sen. Dodd and Cong. Frank. The latter two excaped any punishment, and went on the write new Banking and Wall St. Law/Regulations that now cripples or places the economy in a state of stagnation.

Post Election

-Ohio voters soundly defeated Issue #2 to my chagrin. This vote will recind SB 5 Law passed earlier this year, to help get Ohio out of an $8 B debt. Big Labor and LDPs pour tons of dollars into the State to scare, brainwash an misrepresent what the true purpose of the Law was all about. This Greek like action by labor and LDP may of won the battle, but the war continues. Where does the money come from to offset the $8 B deficit? Raise taxes which is sucide in an weak economy or start the firings of public union worker from the state level down to the smallest declared villege across Ohio. Let the firings begin!
-Herman Cain is toast. You can not fight ghosts. Although two of the women came forth doen't amount to any prooveable action taken 12 or so years ago. There could be many other real or imaginary "victims" in the wings, ready to make a dollar in these tough times.
-Seems pp and the French PM were caught at the G20 on an open mic, speaking about the Isreali PM. Our only real ally in the Middle East, after the Arab Springs. Is that what a Nobel Prize winner does?
-I think pp did it again by holding up his left arm up, block this time the Indian PM face, on a group picture.
-Gosh! the new head of the IAEA says Iran is working on an atomic bomb and deliver system.
-WH shake up Daley moved horizontal while the previous chief of staff takes some of the duties. Humm, how is this going to play in Chicago?

Election Day 2011

-The voting results will be interesting on Ohio's Issues #2, Collective Bargaining Reform for state union workers and #3 To declare Ohioians are not bound by individual mandate to join O'HealthCare Law. This issue is symbolic since the Law is being challenged in US Supreme Court.
-Freddie and Fannie need some extra spending money like $6 B to see themselves through a rough spot. Meanwhile top officials are getting $13 M in bonuses.
-The number of mortgages below water has risen of recent. Think since pp announced he is going to give those underwater some money to stay in the house a few more weeks. Let the housing market crash and start over again is the solution.
-The Camel Herder (CH) is before the Senate Committee today testifing again to several issues but primarily on Ops "Fast and Furious". Watch the LDP side will try to tie a Bush Era Ops "Wide Receiver", that was a precurser for Ops "Fast and Furious". The Bush Era's AGs were in the loop. CH aledgly was not. In 2010 someone in pp administration office closed down "Ops Wide Receiver". Just when Ops. "Fast and Furiuous" was hatched might be determine. CH will gone before years' end.

Bingo gone bust.

-The G20 once again, proved that nothing can be accomplished with 20 heads of state or there agents, each calling there own bingo game. Nor do I recommending that a global czar be in charge of a global montary system. The EU common thread is but a common currency among several countries or states but that's it. The EU has a lightyear or so until they have a foundation equal to of the US of A. Other individual nations have no common bond at all.
-The Greek PM did change his mind about leaving his post, rather he called for a no confidence vote, and slid by 153 to 151. A coalition government to be set up. The Greek financial situation is still in trouble unless the population gets the idea to get a job and cut expenses.
-Former NYC Mayor Rudy G. had a bit of advise for the "Occupy Wall St. Mop"...go get a job. The core of all the current protest groups across the nation are professional protesters funded by LDP groups.
-States are trying to understand the O'HealthCare Law and its regulations, which goes in effect 01.2013. That is, if the Law is not declared unconstitutional by the US Supreme Court next year. A hugh error has been found in the Law's regulations. Seems only the working family members are covered by O'HealthCare...NOT THE FAMILY.

G 20---- Bingo!

-You say that can't be? The #20 on a bingo card is under the I letter not G. Your right, but let me play on that theme.
-However, pp is in France at the G 20 Meeting for a couple of days. But he said before leaving his #1 priority while in France, is fixin' the European financial woes, especially the EU, Greece, Italy, Spain, Portagal, Ireland and et.al., socialized countries in Europe and those around the globe that need financial help. I suppose he will rest, before heading back to DC, to solve our financial delemma.
-He already had the PM of Greece recind the January's referandum vote if determine if the Greek people wanted more austratiy measures or not. I think the Greek PM is is going to fold his tent and abondom the PM chair, rather than have the people riot in the streets. They hadn't had a real job in centuries. They lived off the government, a little fishing and tourism.
-Earlier this week in Colorada, Prop #13 a tax increase issue was defeated 63.5% to 36.4%. This is one of the swing states pp thought had in the bag.
-The are 15 House approved jobs bills awaiting to be voted upon by the Senate, but Dirty Harry will not bring then to the floor for a vote. Rather he offers a $50 B on infrastructure projects that take months to ramp up, procure material, weather related befor construction worker are need. Greatefully it was voted down. More time wasted, but wait the hero of G20 will be back in town next week.
-New unemployment numbers for last report was down to only 397,000, 9,000 less than their secret ballot indicated. However 80,000 new jobs were created over the entire USA last week so the jobless rate drops to 9.0 % from 9.1%. Speaking about imaginary numbers?
-Some "Wall Streeters across America" have a skewed view of the Free-Enterprise Capitalism in America. They say the people should be paided before profits are taken! Huh! Profits are what left after wages,rent, interest and a million other things are paid. Profits are the payment for risk taking, innovation and decision making. In general legit corporations make 5 to 8 cent on one a dollar. Salaries and wages range 50 to 60 cents on the dollar. What's there problem? Do they not know the basic business principles.

No Jobs, No Hope and no Cash!

-That sounds like the pp administration theme song. Borrowing and playing on Steve, Bob and Johnny's names respectively.
-pp said that "God wants Congress to pass his American Jobs Bill". "Right NOW"! What God is pp speaking? I thought he (pp) was the saviour of the whole world, the planet earth, not just America and more specificlly his own skin? The dude is in trouble, big trouble and he is about to take the whole LDP party with him, which is AOK by me, but we are beginning to look more like Greece ever day.
-Why am I surprised that the massive uprising on the "Occupy Wall St Across the US" would be in Oakland, CA? UC-Berkeley is just up the street.
-Here comes the judge... Camel Herder the AG of the USA, lying through his mustache, that he was not aware until of late, that the Ops Fast and Furious occured when documents indicate he had to know, a year or so ago. Apparntly they found something in the archives about a Bush Era program under consideration but was shut down, but it was the blue print for Ops Fast and Furious Gone Wild. Where they go with that information for a defence is unknown. The AG will resign before Nov 2012 election. Criminal charges will continue however, there was US border guard killed by one of the program's weapons. International law could follow.

The path forward

-pp's screwing around with the Pharmaceutical Industry by issuing another executive order to do something to reducing the shortage of meds. Hey Pal, its your O'HealthCare Law that is at the root cause of this shortage and this is just the beginning and it will continue until your sorry ass is back in Chicago.
-An archive search found Jimmy's Misery Index. During the Carter Adm. there was economic stagnation, unemployment, but not as great as today or for as long a period of time. But the Inflation Rate was through the roof. Someone invented an Index to guage the pain in the US citizen. Adding the unemployment % plus the Inflation % = Jimmy's Misery Index. Today the reported unemployment is 9.1% (more like 25% if one adds the unemployed plus the underemployed plus the unmeasurable lost in the cottage industry 25% maybe on the light side) plus 3.9% inflation rate = 13. Inflation has been kept in check, but the Feds are about to start cranking up the printing presses again and the inflation rate will be in Jimmy's wheelhouse in six months.
-I got to admit something, Jimmy changed my world tremendously. I converted to Conservative Republican and been such ever since.
-Gosh! The socialist president of Greece wants to dodge a bullet and let the people vote on the necessary cuts in expenditures that are necessary in 01/01/2012.

Halloween

-Do you realize Halloween ranks second behind Christmas in the amount of revenue generated? One the antithesis of the other. And it happening as the yeardraws to a close.
-New unemployment filings still over 400K, but under photo finish predictions for 409,000. I bet I could of predicted that.
-New jobs created far less than <400K.
-Until those two numbers are reversed, we are going to be in pp's deep ditch of a long after he returns to Chicago.
-WH suggested an independent council be established to review all the green energy project born from pp's Stimulius I. That should be interesting! Secty Chu goes to jail? Don't think so. He is player out of position, for he is a scientist not a business man.
-Ditto for the AG's part in Ops Fast and Furious. Again a player out of position. He should be a judge in traffic court. That's a pun!!! Trafficing... weapons to drug cartels and other thugs during his watch.
-Markets rallied at the end of last week, in that the EU got there finances under control. Looks to me like Germany is doing all the heavy lifting, while the rest of the EU lives the life they perfer, in a socialist everything free is free world. This house of cards will fall, hopefully not take the world with it.

Since its Friday

-Since pp's Stimulus II, "American Jobs Bill", is stuck in Congress, pp's going to try to placate his LDP base by way of the excutive order; thus bypassing Congress. Not sure if this is even legal since it is Congress that issue/ hands out the dough.
-I note with interest pp's bucket list includes such things as funding for failed housing loans and related issues. This was tried at least once before and it failed big time. The one I love is financial relief for (professional) students who run up a tutition tab way up in the six-figure range. They took out the loans, or a sponser did, but never the less there was no clause to forgive your debt, if you don't/can't pay back the loan plus interest. You pay or go to jail. Both of these ticket items are nothing more than expenses, when the Super Committee is on track to cut $1.2 T in 10 years.
-Sheriff Joe of Phenix and his Cold Case Posse are in hot pursute on finding pp's real original birth certificate. If this can be proven, maybe that why pp wants to close Gitmo since day one in office.

Double Ugly American

-Just when pp has the Muslim world eating out of the hand (this is said in jest), out of the blue his Secty. of State while in Libya goes wild wild, on live Arab TV, when it is learned the Gaddafi was dead. Almost jumping from her seat she blurts out "We come", "We see", "He dead". Following that statement MP lets out a deep belly laugh, her eye balls almost jumped from the there sockets. It was ugly for a pp cabinet member to show such excitement or was it exacerbation. The US was a backfield subcontractor to NATO.
-Who does MP's hairdo, make-up and tent maker? She ugly.
-Later she tries to walk back that performance and statement by discounting her disposition at the time, to an unoffical announcement of Gaddafi's demise. You bet, Madam, the world saw, and heard. The only person who believes that is you... MP.
-Was this a NATO victory? Was another empire builder killed. Did France and England secure there oil contracts? What did the US receive? Answers: No, Yes, Don't know, 80% of the tab.
-Looks like the New Libyan Transistion Team have showed there hand on the trpe of government they are going to follow. Iran wins, NATO/US lost. All of North Africa and the Middle East will be in two camps once the dust settles: Iran and Saudi Arabia. Our only real ally in the area, pp long tossed under the bus...Israel, and this is sad.

I got a Problem!

-Last week my wife and I spent a rainy afternoon at the theater to view "Ides of March". Billed as political orientated movie which is directed and stared in by George Cooney. Actually Clooney (the LDP candidate) played second fiddle to Ryan Goshing(chief of staff), who played a strong part. Clooney filmed part of the movie in Greater Cincinnati area, the adopted hometown of the Clooney clan. Knowing full well the theme of the movie would be left wing we went not to be entertained per se, but to view the various local locations which we might relate, where the movie was shot. The operative word here is shot. The movie centered an Ohip LDP primary, with the standard bashing of the CTPR party, promotion of gay marriage, abortion, green energy (the fossil fuel powered vehicles must go, in lieu of solar powered, etc BS were planks in Clooney's platform. One more item... all the young people would get free college education, so long as they spend time in social services, peace corps, and etc. organization like community organizers.(I added the last item). "We came, we saw, we left", but what pisses us off the most, ass-hole Clooney didn't include anything in the following credit that at least part of the filming was done in Cincinnati, rather the movie was filmed in Michigan, exclusively I suppose.
-There were some interest takes of Cincinnati locations, this I will grant.
-To recommend this movie to others, save your money and watch MSNBC or CNN, you get the same story line.
-P.S. Cloony is as phony as a $3.00 bill.

Post Libyan War

-The NATO "victory" as pp boasts, cost US Taxpayers $1.1 B+ through Sept 2011. But you say that can't be? pp said he handed everything over to NATO after the first or second day of the non-conflict. Thereafter the US didn't participate, only as a supporting actor once in a while. The drone that is aledged to have taken the Colonel out was USAF. A French fighter aircraft was also involved. The colonel's body is on ice for time being so all the correct details are secured.
-Reality check: The US pays 80% of the NATO costs, which I hope includes US non-participation costs also?
-Libyan funds frozen in US and world banks is something like $30 - 40B. The US taxpayers should be reinbursed the $1.1B before any fund are released to the "Libyan Authority" whomever they represent. This is the scary part, Egypt all over again?
-Just yesterday, pp granted another $40M funds to track down missing weapons and minutions in Libya and adjacent terrorities. pp should assign this duty to the Camel Herder for he is good at tracking weapons and munitions from Ops Fast and Furious days.
-Some LDP suggested that if a business hires a jail bird he should company should be given a tax break. Huh!!! You bet! When pp gets done withdrawing troops from the Middle East and North Africa he will be firing thousands of military vets and sending them to the unemployment lines. This is sad, but that's what going to happen folks!

He did it again!

-Sure looks like it, pp took out Quadafi (Fox), Gadhafi (CNN),Khaddagy (MSNBC). Apparantly he was killed either by air strike, gun fight, assassination, or committed sucide... anyway it will be offical later today when pp has a press conference and shows another fresh notch on his gun handle.
-I sure hope they catch the guy who stole pp's teleprompters while he was vacation in VA and NC, earlier this week, could delay his press conference today.
-I am more worried about the 20,000 missing shoulder held missiles launchers and other ordnance missing from the man with three names' arsenal.
-GI needs bed rest soon after his recent rants about if pp's Jobs Bill don't get passed, rape and murder will increse sharply. No projections on other crime were cited. However,the latest, catches GI lecturing 4th grade students in a class setting on the need to pass pp's Jobs Bill. Huh!
-My favorite Hollywood female wacho, Sarandon calls the current Pope a Nazi. Your leader madam is a muslim radical from Kenya who wants to make America a socialist at best or communist state at worse. Your serve, Sarandon.

Revelation

-Since there are no more Acorns around, pp, LDP, labor unions are giving support now to another bunch of nuts..."Wall Street Protestors." Thinking this is like manna from heaven, a counter to the opponents "Tea Party Movement.", pp, LDP and labor union overwhelmed by the opportunity. The "Wall Street Protestors" or whatever they are called, are now spreading across the nation like a deadly virus. Since this mop has no leadership, agenda, goals and have a lot of time on their hands, they are ripe for an infiltration of left wing wachos, socialists and communists. Things could turn nasty soon, if the mayors of the affected cities don't take steps to limit this group presence, at least during business hours and no 7/24 tent cities. Hopefully this movement will implode on pp, LDP, and trade unions.
-The zipper spoke out to the "Wall Street Protesters" and suggested their actions couldn't help the protestors since both Wall Street as well as the WH is to blame for our financial problems. He should know he help create the trap door, way back in the 1990s. Zip also said...bad timing for raising taxes... pp do you have your ears on?
-pp is out in his big black traveling machine, touring "must" states of NC and VR, selling pits and pieces of his American Pie.
-The o'healthCare Law is starting to unravel like a onion peel. The CLASS, long term care facet, where only the sick signed up, has been determined to be financially unstainable. pp's justification was when enacted would save $70 B/10yrs and reduce the national debt. To work, the gov't now says 230M workers would have to sign up which is a greater population than total employed. Hummm, sliped a decimal point or two. Class will be put on the back burner for future review.

-A local middle school principle was actualy gitty when the electric bill for 09/11 was received...$3,147.94 CREDIT from Duke Energy. Hold it, reality check: the cost for the solar cells and the installation tallied $3,200,000. Simple ROI =$3.2/ $3,148/mo = 1,0165 mos./12 = 84.7yrs. That about the same ROI yrs. as when the City Park District installed same on the roofs of their buildings, as reported earlier. Duke Power had to later declare the 13 units as miniscule power generators., Apparantly the Park District discovered ROI sucked.
-Energy Secty. Chu, a scientist not a business man per se, signed off on another Solar Cell manufacture (SunPower) during the last days of the pp's Stimulus I hand out for >$ 2 B and now they were reportly going belly up.
-The number of green jobs created from the 2009 Stimulus Program has been but 8,035 through 06/2011, when 79,964 job was predicted by WH/BLS. Extremely poor batting average.
-WH's GM still owes taxpayers >$6 B, but that didn't stop GM to signing a new generous labor contract with UAW.
-Chev's Volt was scheduled to produce 10,000 cars this year ($41,000 - $8,000 WH rebate = net ~$33,000). YTD ~ 4,000 sold. Hummm.
-GM coming out in 2012 with a mini-Volt, battery only operated car, will travel about the same distance as the Volt on battery = 35 miles(perhaps a greater distance since its to be smaller car thus weighs is less), before it runs out of juice. Standing lines are not forming on either vehicle at this writing.
-Comment of the Day: In 8 months you will not be able to get your hands on foie gras! Yep, its going to be outlawed only in California.

Whats next Boss!

-pp's American Jobs Bill crashed and burned on the floor of the SENATE, the other night. Vote not even close: 54 to 49. What's next Mr. President?
-New unemployment filing, seasonally adjusted, still holding >400,000 or -404,000 actual. Need +280,000/mo. added each month to get to the level of 2007 in five years. We are still going in the wrong direction and no hint of an about face on the horizon.
-Unemployment has been 9% or greater for the last 27 of 29 months, and pp has in office YTD 33 months. That's a bad batting average in any league, send the rookie back to the minors.
-Rumers have it another gov't stimulus funded US Solar Cell manufacture going belly up. Another poor example of lack of due dilence on the part of the Secty. of Energy Chu, et.al. Afterall Chu is a physics professor. I think this simple ROI thing is new to him. Send this rookie back to the minors also.
-Remember back in early September when the August new jobs report came out that zero new job were created in the whole country? I questioned the figure zero? Out of the whole country not one new job was created was ridiculous, well you should happy the actual was off +58,000. Prime ex: Figures don't lie, but liers can figure.

OPs Fast and Furious

-The hugh DOJ/FBI info dump late last Friday (re: OPs Fast and Furious) was designed to provide cover and cause confusion to those investigating that ill conceived and failed operation.
-The DOJ/FBI deserve congraduations for foiling an Iranian plot to assassinate the Saudia Ambassador to the US in DC, including perhaps collateral killing as well. To prevent instances, as above, is what the DOJ/FBI are suppose to do, right?
-Running a gun operation that sends weapons to the Mexican Cartels and other criminal resulting in killing people on both side of the border, is dead wrong and it is not in the DEA of the DOJ/FBI. The Camel Herder must go!
-Tally is in: it cost > $1 M for pp to come to Cincinnati to give a campaign speech about his American Jobs Bill before congress and showing as an example the Brent Spence Bridge across the Ohio River. Ain't gonna happen. I know one thing, that project will not be Fast and Furious, maybe 6 to 8 years turnaround.

Search for new AG!

-One wonders how long pp will stick with the Camel Herder? pp is going to either fish or cut bait soon because of OPs Fast and Furious ain't going away. The Camel Herder knows. One also wonders what pp knew and when did he know it? There was an American killed by one of the thousands of weapons given to the Mexican drug cartels and other criminals on this side of the border. This is serious! Internationally, there could be charges for the thousands of Mexican cililians, police and army that were killed by the same gun running scheme that went deadly.

-It not surprising pp, Mother Moron and other LDP people are actually supporting the "Wall ST. Protestors", now migrating to various cities across the nation. Some actually think the "protestors" are a counter to the Tea (Taxed Enough Aleady)Party members. However one only has to look the signs of the protesters e.g., "Makes Banks Pay!" "Corporate Greed is not Patroitic!" "Give my Professor Health Insurance, Please!" "Food is a basic Human Right!" "Bernacke Burnt Out!" they have a scattered, shot-gun agenda, but that fits well with pp and the LDP party and their agenda for the last three years.

-There was one protestor over the week-end, when asked about about magnitude and the duration of the protest movement, made a response similar to the following: There will be less people during the week protesting, because some of us have jobs that we have to honor. I bet some of the protestors even have 401Ks, IRAs! Good Grief!

Afghanistan

-Ten years and 27 days ago today, terriorist wrought a terriable surprise attack on the USA, using our own commerical aircraft as a weapons of mass distruction. A few short weeks later, a united America invaded a nation that harbored these terriorist, as promised. Those who were not killed, fled to safety and into "our ally" Pakistan.
-Afghanistan had witnessed wars, what seems to be forever. The most recent were with the British, later the Russians. Both nations gave up after a shorter stay. Neither one made a serious attempt to train/support the Afghan military, government civilian population and school system. Our nation, this president(pp) is almost with certainity after the US agreed commitment, fold up tent and return to the US and enter the unemployment lines. That's why pp must be defeated in 2012.
-What have we gained...but lost of blood and treasure. Will the world be safer? Hell no. As General McArther said in the Phillippines during WWII, "I/we shall return", and he did, so also will the US and if there is a NATO maybe, but must start from scratch again. Why not commit to stay for longer term and budget for it. If we pull out 2014 who will fill the void? Two guesses: Iran and Pakistan with nuclear weapons and delivery systems.

But we have to tax the hell out of those people who work hard, make $250K/Yr. or more. Like my new bud... Warren Buffett. He wants me to tax his socks off. There is no evidence that Warren Buffett was so stupid to said that, especially his shareholders would like to know. Any cancelled checks flying around, maybe he used his BofA debit card? I wonder if pp even read the bill for its DOA at Congress's door step. Will not fly in the House for darn sure and Mr. President you don't have the votes in your LDP Senate either. You are becoming a major liability, the D-MO Senator ain't gonna be on stage with you tonight may give you a clue.

International law may step in and press charges for the hundreds of Mexican civilian, military, police that were killed with the weapons the ATF/FBI/DOJ gave to criminals?

-Whomever becomes the CTPR party's presidential candidate, should have Sen. Rob Portman (R-OH) as VP. He has the knowledge/experience/ and political savy that is needed, and OH is a swing state also. The R-FL senator is too young and should not be required to take the VP seat, when he could run for President on his own down the road. Sitting out 8 years in a position, like the GI has, would not be fair to the senator nor his family.

Oh my!

-Gentle Ben says the US economy is on the brink of going into recession. Who would a thunk that? pp continues to whine, was dealt a bad hand when he took this job. "Got to sign my Jobs Bill, right away". Oh really! Mr. President your American Jobs Bill $447B don't have majority LDP support in the Senate, which you occupy. Better cut a deal to downsize your Bill and fast.
-Meanwhile young peoples' "NYC Wall Street Protest" moving to other cities, but what happen if those cities don't have a Wall Street? Not sure what they are protesting or what is there utilimate goal is, other than to match Europe's uprisings.
These young folk don't like sweat work, but forever students. They are like the folks in Greece.
-A root cause perhaps: One of the protesters was interviewed, she being a graduate student along with her boyfriend have a combined student loan debt of $130,000. And they don't know where rent money will come from when due. Hummm who you got you in this financial fix? I bet you out spent your BofA debit card and all your credit cards are maxed out. Honey, you and your boyfriend are responsible for your own debt.

Lowering taxes, not hiking taxes affords the public the money to which they can purchase. Let the free market place satisfy the supply/demand.

Estimates Vs Reality

-New unemployment filings dropped last week according to BLS to a seasonally adjusted 391,000. Believe it or not that's down from what BLS expected! Sure. They never show their hand or offer an estimated as a projection, until the race is over. Don't play poker with the BLS. What ever the numbers are they are too darn high at this point in pp administration. pp is even screaming at the black community to get off their dead asses and go to work? Where boss man? That is what community organizers do, I suppose.and pp wasn't very good at that so I am told. Fustrating isn't it. The hole pp has continued to excavate is approaching Jules Verns' novel proporations.
-Up pops reality: Way back in Econ 101, I was told 96% employed = full employment or 4.0% unemployment was the norm. Today neutral parties say 400,000/mo. new jobs are required for 3 years to get to 5.5% level, equal to #43's administration in 2007, which I guess is the new norm. Ok, that's a tall order, lets say 280,000/mo. That will take 5 years to reach the 5.5%. OK considering the unemployment levels have been in negative figures since 2008: but #43 recession was declared over in June
2009, they continued to declining at a slower rate. To the unemployed, the under employed or those now employed that are on the bubble, adds little comfort.
-To blow your socks off, the swing from negative numbers (today) and add say the 280,000 = the total number of jobs required, HOLY COW!
I would of said Hail Mary...but one of the nuts out in CA wants the school system to issue a mandate for children and teachers to stop saying "God bless you, when someone sneezes".

Things in general!

-There has been an increasing odor level emanating from the Chicago area for the past 8-9 years. And it doesn't have anything to do with that city being the LDP capital of the nation. Seems as though shunks population has incresed in and around that city during that time. I'll let you draw your own conclusions, if any. However, you can't blame #43.
-If the various state straw poll voting takes your breath away, it sure does allow one to get a darn good look at the candidates at the proceeding debates. Cong. Paul R-TX usually runs the tables, except this year. All the one's who wins the poll are always in back of the field and seldon emerges as a front runners. Why is that? Are they one's telling the truth? Or are they have nothing to loose, so they don't mince words. Maybe its just everyone wants to pile on the leaders. Some stab with rapier of wit, other content to use the old 2 X 4 along the side of the head. Seem there could a better way to get someone nominated, now doesn't it. However the best one is still standing at the end of this torture. On the other side, the LDP side, you have a dictator in the making, if he isn't taken out at the ballot box come Nov 2012...
-Another exciting event last week was the annual open house at the UN. What a waste.

Last week pp was in town to give his campaign stump speech on his "American Job Bill" now before congress. I blogged earlier about the details of his visit. After his spiel was over, local broadcast interviewed some of the attendees. One particular guy was an unemployed hardhatted construction worker and his response is the focus of this blog. It went something like this. "Well I heard pp was going to be in town to give a speech about a new bridge and I thought they maybe looking for a welder, so I came". "I have not been working for 17 YEARS". "Sure could use a job". I had a third party verify what we heard was correct...17 Years. Yep! It was probably said in error, rather 17 months, but why the TV editors didn't delete or correct, makes me wonder. Perhaps this old boy was correct... in 17 years! Maybe his home was under the bridge? pp handlers using the underside of the existing
I-71/75 bridge as a backdrop stumbled over this guy, cleaned him up and staged him as there prop for a pre arranged post-interview? Then who were the other ~1,000 idle hardhatted construction workers at the rally? It can't be?

Yesterday

-pp visited the Tri-State area yesterday, spoke to <1,000 hard hats and others and demanded Sen McC R-KY and Earl's boy R-OH to sign his American Jobs Bill, so you guys can fix this Brent Spence bridge, "right away". pp's delivery... Rev. Wright would be proud.
Fact Check: Mr. President, to "fix" this bridge requires $2-3B and if $s were in hand today, it would be 3-4 years before actual site work could start and would take another 5-6 years to complete, maybe more if union construction worker must be used. And it doesn't fit your "right away" criteria nor does it fit $ spending pattern <2 years. It was a bumber Sir, but it good to get out of MamaO's sight for awile. What's that! She is in Africa on a vacation? Looking for a retire home perhaps?
-Mr. President hate to shit in your mess gear again, but while you were in town yesterday did you see what the Feds did, and how investors reacted. World markets tanked again, even Ag and Au was trending downward. America and its people needs you to get off auto pilot and stop reading from those damn teleprompters, and begin speaking from the heart.
-One other thing Mr. President, did you see those CA solar panel guys that the 5th, at House Investigation Committee this AM. I think you were a sponsor for this Company at one time? -pp's big Hi-Five infront of a foreign ambassador face, at picture taking time at the UN yesterday, will be a classic for dipomatic relations teaching moments. Or was it a premonition... of his rush to be #5?
-pp's in town today to contribute to the already congested traffic problems that spans the Ohio River. Built in the '60s the Brent Spence bridge has been a pinch point to travelers on the North/ South I-71/ 75 interstate system for adecades. Authories await pp visual audit...yep it a pinch point. Give us the money now ! Well you gotta pass my American Jobs Bill which I didn't send to Congress yet. Building a parralel bridge and providing the approaches is hardly a shovel ready project rather it will take a decade to accomplish. Preliminary engineering/ environmental studies/ cost estimates have been done, but are not complete and probably will have to be redone in part or total to meet current code and permitting procedures enacted or to be enacted. It is the latter hurtles that have to be accomplished so a final design can be agreed upon, EPA approved and a + / - 10% estimate can be made.
-The zipper now suggests... that no debt limit be set and don't cut spending and let the free enterprise system do its thing is the best way to get the economy going again. Zip... thats what got the economy in mess it is in now.

Peace is Hard

-Iran released the two American hikers incoincidence with Ahmadinjad arriving at the UN and pp starting his addressing the UN General Assembly. Oh yea, the US handling over the $1M ransom fee for the two hikers.
-pp received an initial and ending applause only, when addressing the UN Assembly this AM. He should become the next Secretary General of the UN in 2013, for he speaks and his delivery was well done, I thought. His words/ delivery are ideal to lead this useless world organization.
-"Peace is not the absence of war" was also voiced by pp, but uncertain what he meant or maybe that was his intent to confuse.
-He was caught in a box of his own making, when he causualy spoke about Palestine statehood. He skirted around the fact the US will veto such action later this week.
-pp spoke that "peace is hard" a dozen times and it broke out in the whole middle east and N.Africa earlier this year. All this countries are not a peace today per se, but in a state of flux.
-Abbas represents only the PA and not sure how they intend to include Hamas who share occupancy of West Bank and Gaza, much less resume peace talks with Israel, which pp reinforced.
-Shit will hit the fan in the middle east once US posts it veto for PA statehood.

-pp had a WH rose garden speech this AM. It was about funding of his "American Jobs Bill. It was scheduled for 10:30, started 26 min. and lasted 11:16 or ~20min.
-It was a campaign speech with no really new ideas, other than speaking about the "Buffett Rule" which is a crock. Everyone earning 250K/year (family) or $200,000(individual) must pay their fair share. Same line since algore in Yr. 2000 campaign.
He used this "bill must be signed right away" sparingly. DJIA was down >200 pts, NADSAQ > 23 and S&P >22, 10 minutes into his speech. Trend stayed that way after the speech and probably attributable to the EU financial mess, we want to emulate.
_Later Earl's boy declared the speech-class warfare, investment killing and lack any significant spending if any at all.
=Earl's boy was favorable in pp moving the fair trade issues through, but those were on his desk since he walked in in 01.20.2009. More infrastructure, nothing was said about shovel-ready project as in the original stimulus bill...

-Can't wait for pp tax cut offset for his stimulus bill due this week or next. The sense of urgency is overwhelming.

-CTPR party picked up Weiner's old (D-NY)House seat as well as NV's 2nd District by a hugh margin. Signals not all is well in the pp camp.
-Seems a black cloud blankets pp's pet green project at Solyadra in CA. They went belly up after spending $535,000 of taxpayers money. More criminal, is that it is alledged both Solyndra and the WH/ OBM knew the company was not ready for prime time, but pushed it anyway. Investigation underway. This time the GI head should be wacked.
-I stand corrected in mis-titling pp's jobs bill sent to Congress. I referred to it as "American Worker Bill" rather the correct title "American Jobs Bill. Howsome ever, there is nothing in that bill as presented has anything about new jobs, rather more of the same of Stimulus #1 which was a $ 1 T failure. pp said he would sign into law any pieces of that law, if Congress finds the whole bill unfavorably. Many LDP Senate and House are lining up behind Earl's boy. However Chief Broke Axilrod, from the Chicago reservation, told the LDP new media pp is wrong, in that its all or nothing.
-Applications for unemployment last week jumped to 428,000 from a upwarded revised 417,000 the prior week per BLS.

I Get No respect

-Last week an earthquake followed by Hurricane Irene, caused pp to cut short his summer vacation. Some nerve!

Earl's boy causes pp to fumble the snap from center just before the clock runs out. pp recovers the ball, but is forced into the "enemies" ends zone. The ball is moved out to pp's 7o'clock line, when play will resumes the next evening. pp will be given 891/2 minutes to score before the TV blacks out. Exactly at 8:30PM, the TV picture returns and the announcer welcomes everyone to the "Green Bay Vs New Orleans" football game.
-Not sure if Rodney Dangerfield coined that phrase "I get no respect" but he used it alot and it became his trademark. Dangerfield was a comedian and used that phrase in jest, pp is a loser, who commands no respect.

-According to WH/BLS report there have been absoletely no, zero new jobs created this past month; is a crock of shit. This is a self-prophecies written by WH scribes preparing pp joint session of Congress speech for sometime later next week.
-Gosh! If pp creates just one new private sector job he is up 100%. He can't loose, but it better be one of his brothern that gets the job. The unemployment amount male black in intercities is > 40%. They seem unemployable, since they have no skill sets, are generally lazy, can't be motivated and lived on welfare and food stamps, without a father, for generations. Going up the food change of unemployed, it don't become better until you approach the top 30%. These are the people pp wants to tax to hell, thinking at least some maybe top 1% like bud Warren to say they will give up their life style so one of the other groups don't have to work.
-Seems as though Ops "Fast and Furious" would be and appropriate title for pp new jobs initive, but that name is used up. Reports indicate there are tentacles of that royal screw-up has reach all the way to at least to WH Security Mission and the DOJ's office. The Camel Herder head should roll.
-Another US "green co." based in California making solar panels, went out of business this week, that makes 3 in the month of August. Seems as though all the stimulus moneys ran out, but they cited labor cost too high to compete with foreign companies, as if either should be a surprise.

A Poem

-I am not here today to critique the WH scheduling problems, the fact pp blinked and is going to address a joint session of congress on the 8th day of September to give a campaign speech, that new unemployment filings are 409,000 or that last week's figure was revised upward and... I am depressed enough.
-Last night while watching "America's Got Talent"...which I thought, except for the quest Brit lady, sucked big time. I was cruising through a book called "The Notes" by President Reagan. It comprised a series of notes and comments compiled from his private collection of individuals of note and from varing times. I am not into poetry per se, but if Reagon recalled it, its ok with me. The poem doesn't have an author, nor a date in time, however it fits well into current events.

The winner would be given the use of one of pp's big black armored traveling machines for three days, with the winner paying the fuel bill and other maintenance costs. US Tennis Open-Analogy

Back in Econ 101, it was said the cheap money drives dear money out of existance, and it discourges savings, runs up the plastic money debt. I bet few younger people have a savings account.
-One wonders, what effect last week's earthquate and Irene will have on fiscal matters? I would suggest none. Lets see. These events should not be a back door WH stimulus program, except with other spending cuts. Why should I, the taxpayer, pay for someone's damage or lose of a business or house that is parked in the cross-hairs of past and future hurricanes? That's what insurance is for, admittly expensive, then more. If mother nature wipes out my house, the state or federal governments don't hand out money to me.
Ok, an earthquake is a different matter, it is not predictable, especially on the east coast.

With all the negativity coming from Warshington, Wall Street, elsewhere something of a lighter quality follows:
pp fired of a paper message to Assad, the Syrian president of sorts. pp threaten to do this for weeks, but he let MP send her statement first. Ladies before gentlemen.
With no response. pp comments went something like this. 'Old buddy, Assad you can't keep killing your brothern like you have been doing for the last 5 months. You should resign and flee to Iran'. 'You are no longer a civil leader'. What the media didn't say was... Assad responded. It went something like this. 'You ain't no buddy of mine, you tar baby. Furthermore you can go f-ourself. Take care of your own country's problems'. Upon receipt of the response, pp called a cabinet meeting, but without GI. GI is in China trying to sell California. The only agenda item for the cabinet was Assad's response. pp challenged his cabinet and he wanted answers now. Why is Assad mad at me, I confessed all of America's sins a couple years ago. But Sir, who starting the Libyan affair? Oh! that's was the UN or NATO not me. And what is Assad speaking about...tar baby? It takes one to know one right. Right on Mr.Pres. And what is Assad meaning, I have enough problems here at the WH to take care of. Sir, did you see the markets today? All tanking. New weekly unemployment filing up over 400,000 again, existing home sales down big time, manufacturing is down, import/export is out of wack by a ton,and... -The recent US death toll in Afghanistan has been the highest since what pp calls "the good war" began over 10 years ago. Just as pp has directed his generals on the ground to start sending troops home, to satisfy one of his goofy campaign promises. He has a Nobel Peace Prize to support.

-Another pp campaign promises to rid Iraq of US presence by years' end is an open invitation for Iran to take command of the Sheit south. Already violence has pick up in Iraq. pp has a Nobel Peace Prize to support.

-MP states the need for greater sanctions against Assad (Syria). Yep that's what needed. This giraffe, the long neck guy has been slaughtering his own people for months now and the UN and US sits on their collective hands. MP claims no need of US involvement since neither side has superior air power. Huh! Tanks and other military weapons Vs bricks and rocks to MP seems a parity? Sure. pp has a Nobel Peace Prize to support.

-Meanwhile in northern Africa, UN and US have long rid the sky of Libyan war planes, to get that war to a parity...no superior air power on either side. Surprise! UN is still there. Libyan dicator still in power. US is also there but acting as a rear detail. Can't pass this one up... pp is looking like and ass.

The week that was.

-The uncontrolled rocket ride in the markets doesn't speak well for the pp and his policies or lack there of. Europe is not pulling its own weight, but that is predictable with all socialist lifecycles in decline. AAA rated France and Germany, the main props of the euro & et.al. economies, the rest are clinkers. pp wants to make Europe a model for tomorrow's AA+ rated America. Ain't gonna happen, Dude.
-The 11th Court of Appeals ruling, is the first stake to the heart of O'HealthCare Law, to be found unconstitutional. The US Supreme Court to rule before election day 2012. The financial underpinnings of that Law, was found unconstitutional. The rest of that Law goes down like the concert stage in Indiana yesterday.
-Its about time pp, family, WH staff and others goes on vacation to Martha's Vineyard. They need downtime. Permanate come 01.20.2013.
-I never saw anything more exciting the Iowa Straw Vote agenda, except watch grass grow. Thursday anyone of the 10 could run circles around pp and GI. It was a good debate, good taking points were hatched. The vote yesterday, while very small in aggregate, advanced some and cause Pawlenty to fold tent.
