Passing Thoughts

-We need more Cong. West R-FL to tell the LDP Socialist peddlers to ship out of this country with there B.S. This is the United States of America!
-The Fl Primary results should show a trend where the CTPR party is heading, unless Ron Paul were to win, which is unlikely. It will be a four man race all the way to the Convention in Tampa in August, if their money holds out. Its Romney's to loose
-The Pentigon released a have baked idea last week, of taking a surplus ship from mothballs, refit it with todays technology and park it permanently in the international waters of the Eastern Mediteranean Sea. I guess to show a presence and for intelligence purposes. Speaking about shooting ducks in a barrel? Any terrorist organization could easily take out a parked target. Maybe the WH could work with the Italian's who have abondomed further on-boared search of the Concordia, for missing people. All the WH would have to do is tow the sinking ship out out to the general area, drop anchor. Add a couple air compressors and a generator or two to keep the ship afloat, and walla! Forwarded advance platform at little cost. The Italian flag would have to go. Maybe we could get our many democratic friends in Egypt or Libya to refuel once in a while. What? That will not work we backed the wrong horse in both those countries? NO friend not in jail or dead.

Opps!

-Major collapse in Cincinnati. Sometime over-night one of our garment support rods in one of our closets, failed in shear. Overloading was the cause. New opportunity to help the Vietnam Vets. Added to the honey-do list.
-Oh yes, there was another collapse in Cincinnati, this one at the under-construction Horseshoe Casino downtown. Appears as concrete was being placed on the second level, a structural steel beam failed in shear, in the middle of a span forming a V- shaped funnel of metal decking, re-bars and a flow of green concrete that allowed the workers (11 or 12) to slide 60 feet to grade level without death or even major injury. Lady Luck also prevailed for there were no workers beneath the collaped span or if so, they had time to run to safty. OSHA and other state and local inspectors are flocking to the site to find the cause and set responsibility. Opening day will be delayed. Seem the same design engineering and construction management firms had a similar problem last year in Cleveland, OH. Humm!
-pp roaming the country side after his State of the Collapsed Union address earlier this week. By the way new unemployment filings are up again. New housing sales lowest since records have be collected, other Indese adrift in Sargaso Sea. I wonder why?
-Mitt scored a TKO on Newt last night and depending on what poll is viewed appears to be leading going into the Tuesday's primary.
-Here is something to ponder: If O'HealthCare is not found unconstitutional, later this year and < the Conventions, by the Supremes, leaves all 50 States with an agonizing choice. The O'HealthCare, is an extension of Medicare right? Administration if left to the 50 State Gverners and et.al. a hugh migraine... 1)collapse the state's budget, if not already deep in debt and deficits, or 2)abandom the poor. The system will collapse by it's own weight.
-Refocus on the 30M poor or soon to be poor, and leave the other 275.5M people alone.
-Not to worry, pp and them, will be on full retirement, total benefits for the rest of their lifes.

State of the Union

-This address was well defined in recent e-mail, as a meanless ritual, we look to the insignificant creature of questional intelligence for prognosticants. I think the writer was thinking of Feb 2, groundhog, but it fits pp as well.

-Did you stay up last night to watch the Gov. Mitch Daniel's (R-IN) rebuttle of pp address? Gov Daniel's gave one of the best if not the best rebuttal of any person since the rebuttal was invented. Just Mitch and the camera crew, no captive audiance as was the case in DC. This guy was also "W" budget director and later got IN's budget back in the black, when the rest of the states were buying red ink by the barrel.

-As far as pp's address... it was something like the captian's statements of the Italian cruse ship sinking off the west coast of Italy. pp was all over the map. pp was on his socialist binge of the need of financial equality. He proposed setting up another task force team to patrol the banks and lending institutions, head up by the AG office. Cameras focused on the camel herder, as if he was the intended leader. Might wait a spell this AG maybe be fired over "Fast and Furious? I thought the Dodd-Frank Law was to take care of this? What does the IRS do?

-At the beginning and towards the end of the address he thanked the troops return by years' end last from Iraq and that more troops to be removed from Afghanistan later this year, ready or not. He welcomed returning troops to the unemployment lines, but suggested he is proosing employers who hire a vet special inceryiyudes. He did thank the special forces for helping him kill OBL, and hinted other leaders being disposed of in N.African and Middle East as somehow helping us? Huh!!!As far as Syria's slaughter of their civilians, now approaching 11 months and 6,000 deaths later, hinted their leader will get what he deserves soon. Relations will Israel was never better. The "ropes" around Iran are showing promise or words to that effect.

A 1,000 Days of Nothing.

-Zoom another 370 days + or -, and we will be rid of the South Chicago's Community Leader aka Our President. That's the good news for tonight.
-pp will deliver any excellent pick of words for his State of the Union. Some say the WH has been working on this speech since Labor Day or was it since pp's speech in Nebraska, where I think, at the same spot where TR gave his famous speech. Sorry, pp your are no TR! Even when TR bolted the Republican Party and was running as a Bull Moose party candidate he would of beat #44. TR lost, so did Cincinnati's Taft re-election bid and the country wound up with Wilson, the other Universary Professor.
-Which leads me to Newt. Newt, another professor seem to have spiked in his bid for the CTPR parties candidate. The gravity of the nation's woes will pull him down to where the rubber hits the road as the campaign moves forward.
-1 Hr and 10 Mins. until Our Leader attempts to describe he has other accomplishment beside his pick of Bo, his dog.

..and there off!

-At the 3 link post, we have a three horse race, with the fourth trailing heading into the Florida Handicap next Tuesday. Gosh! If this race continues at this rate we might not have a clear candidate until the convention, like it was in yesterdays.

-I can remember as a child laying on the floor in front of our free standing Philco radio listing to the Democratic Conventions battles. In my father's house it was worse than a mortal sin to be listing to anything but Democratic programs. No one spoke, that I can't remember, much about the other guys, except Hoover, the evil of the evil ones. I think my dad's father-in-law was one of the other guys, because we seldon visited his farm, or if we did, dad couldn't make it...had work to do at home or across the street at the Family Homestead. I didn't have a clue who Hoover was at all. I understood clearly there was this god-like guy named Roosevelt. Remember I wasn't "reborn" (political speak) until 1980 at the age of 44.

-Actung Cincinnati! Buried in the back pages of the Enguirer's editoral page was an article about the Portland OR. famous streetcar program. Seems this "self sustaining project", what Cincinnati is trying to emulate, got a $20M funding from the pp's stimulus for maintenance of the system. One local reader responded "do we plan to prevent our proposed street car system from becoming a "crack train" from the riverfront to OTR area? My concern are, the street car(s) will be high-jacked in the OTR area and sent to chop shops, never to return. My other concern is, I am certain this project will be added to the New Freedom Center, the two New Sport Stadiums coming after the taxpayer for additional taxes. The city is alreay millons in the red, let's attend to to the debt and deficits before considering another rat hole for money.

Keystone Pipe Line

-I can't help from drawing a comparison to the TV's V8 commerical where the guy slides down the downspout to give his split second presentation, and dashes back up the downspout from whence he came, to pp and his lame indorsement of MP's earlier statement, that prompted him to kill the Keystone Pipe Line. Mr. pp this is a shovel ready project, perhaps the first during your tendure in office? It don't increase the debt or deficits a dime and you listen to the green people for advice. You look like an idiot, Sir.

-Missed the SC primary debate last night. Hear tell Newt's rebuttal to CNN's John King in regard to ABC's earlier disclosure of his life style scored applause, for the history professor. In essence, he told John King and the LDP media to shove it up where the sun don't shine, went over big with the audience. But that is what Newt does best, pontificate and debate. We got one in the WH already that does that and where has it got us in going on four years? If not Ronmey, we need someone of Romney's ilk, someone that has a business know how, that don't need a host of czars to write his script from which to recite.

I don't believe it?

-I can not come to grips with a rebuttal or approporate comment(s) for what occured at the WH yesterday, but I am going to give it a shot.
-Using MP for cover, pp agrees to kill the Keystone Pipe Line. Happy jumps the LDP base, some of which probably would benefit directly or indirectly from the project if it were to proceeded, but they would rather be on welfare than work.
-This project is not wanting for lack of environment impact statements. The project costs are absorbed by the Oil and ancillary industry and suppliers the US pays ZERO. Almost every real American including, the labor unions want this job to put American back to work again. Thousands!!! For gods sake if nothing else for National Security, with the current threat of the Iranians to shut down the Straits of Hormuz for one.
-The decision was just pure politics, plan and simple. pp is playing just to the his base, which must of eroded greatly since the demise of ACORN. He is supported by a party of losers, but he is the POTUSA 'til 01.20.2013. Impeachment comes to mind.

And now there are four

-Gov Perry (R-TX) dropped out of race today, before SC Primary on Monday. Big debate tonight hosted by CNN. Perry jump off the ship gracefully, not like the Italian sea capitain. You have to question the sanity of the CTPR primaries, this time around, and ask is there a better way? The poor devil who eventually wins or survives the gladitor's arena of words will be all battered and brused up by his "fellow CTPR" buds. Everyone will know everything about the candidate. Plus it steals the thunder from pp at election time, for he will be accused of using CTPR script already aired. That's good for the CTPR party.
-No, there is not a better way. I only which the LDPs would of done it in 2008 season, maybe we would of found out early on where the eventual winner was born, is he a citizen of the USA or not? MP might of became President. Huh! for give me father for I have sinned... Who were pp early friends, why does he shuns his alledged black relatives, and seldom says anything about his white mother or her family. Was he actually hatch from an egg in a laborary experiment that went wrong and the lab expected a duck? Who were his class mates at High School in Hawaii, at Oxidential College in CA.? Columbia U.? and at Harvard Law School? Who paid for his education in the Ivy League schools? There is not one thread of evidence of anything from his past as being exposed in the CTPR party primaries so far! Why were both pp's and mamaO's law license pulled in year 2002?

Wednesday, January 18, 2012

Now there are five

-I believe Newt has it wrong. It's a hand down deal for Newt to take out pp in a debate, or a series of debates, but the sad truth is, it's just a a debate. One college history professor against another college legal professor. That's not the objective. We need some one with a business background as president/CEO and knows and has dealt with the real world business and working with people. The only one in the CTPR party is now running ahead of the other candidates so far. Who really cares what tax bracket anyone is in now, and what does this have to do with nation's primaries.

-pp has allegely sent a secret letter to Iran, tell them to bach off the idea to sea blockade of the Strait of Hormux, or he will do the same thing he did over the Iraian capiture of our spy drone as few weeks ago...nothin'.

-Survey says: "Rich Vs poor seem as the key struggle in US or that's the spin the LDPs want us to believe. The 99% Vs 1%. Really... 89% of the 99% state the rich are rich because of inheritance or their own hard work of a compenation thereof. So why would anyone disagree with those attributes? Then the survey says 80% of the 99%are not interested in taking from the 1% and are more interested in a policy to build economic growth. Thus it can be said the vast majority of the 99% want the opportunity to be rich, but they don't want to work for it?

"There you go again, Mr President"

-The title made famous and was a pivotial expression by candidate Ronald Reagan in the 1980 presidential debates against Jimmy Carter. And it worked! I believe the internal battles within the 2012 CTPR stable of candidates is excellent, it uses up the steam and issues that can be raised by the current occupant of 1600 Pa. Ave. Puh Bro gotta go!
-Europe's socialist style economie are on the treshold of implosion with the addition of France and Austria about to have there credit rating decreased. Watch for inflation to skyrocket. Currentlythe euro is = the $, which is good for US, but it gets foggy down the road.
-Guess what? Governor Brown (LDP-CA) finding taxing only those making $250K/ yr. falls way short in sucking up the $9 B shortfall in 2012's CA budget. To compound the issue the state debt is in the neighborhood of $ 600 B.
-Rumers flying MP and GI may switch jobs to bolster the LDP ticket in upcoming election. pp and MP make for a terrible marriage. MammaO tossed out Chief Sitting Bull maybe, but she didn't take a liking to Bill Daley for he is on his way out and back to Chicago. Look out MP what you wish for.

> NH, < SC.

-The gang of six are in SC for their primary later this month. This event should thin the ranks. To early to call, however it looks like it's Romney's to lose.
-Ron Paul scares me. He could splinder off to form a third party. That's what brother Ross P. did in 1996 and we go the Zipper for the next eight years. However Ron's age could be a limiting factor. He will add some strong planks to the CTPR party platform at the Convention.
-If you keep a few month's food supply in your house, you could be a Mormon.
We got too many people with time on their hands to turn up issues like this.
-Opps...the unemployment claims ticked up by 24K to top out at 399,000 for last week even though 200K new jobs were supposed to be created. Indeed this guess-estimating is not an exacting science, but anyone knows there is a drop in employment at year's end, that's a given. Why not put all the cards on the table. Example: >3.6M filed continued claims by years' end an increase of 19K from the week before. Millions more underemployed or just dorpped out. More GI's will be added to the unemployment ranks, and this is a sin.
-This is all the while pp has and will be in campaign mode.
-pp had a big meeting yesterday at the WH to discuss how he can create employment growth. Two from the group later spoke to reporters. 1) a union steelworker from one of the plant Romney (as CEO) took over when at Bain Investors. 2) the mayor of Atanta. Lord only know who the others represented. More of a Romney bashing than anything else.

Hold it right there.

-Thanks to Cong. King R-NY and his dogs sniffed out a WH/Hollwood plot to sharing military intelligence. Seems the WH allowed high level access to photos of the take out of OBL last summer, to go to a Hollywood producer for inclusion in a movie due out right before election day. Of course... pp image was to be bigger than a inflated ballon of Santa Claus until Cong. King punch a hole and the deflated balloon drifts to the ground. The movie, if it happens, has been postponed until after the election season.
-Almost a total recall of the 2011 Chevy Volt (8,000) was announced, following a third fire ocurred of a Volt in a test condition. Seems a side impact affects the Lithium battery cooling system and it envelops the car in flames.
- How regular first responders approach a fully charge battery in this condition, in the real world setting is unknown.
- Lets see, it cost the taxpayers $ 250K to manufacture one Volt auto today.
- $250K x 8,000 = $2,000,000,000/ lot. Only 80% of a projected 10,000 manufacturing quota were made or it would of cost the taxpayers more money.
-To purchase a Volt cost ~$40,000 after discounts, rebates x 8,000 cars produced makes $320,000,000 - EBDIT.
-$2,000,000,000 - $320,000,000 = $1,680,000,000 gross loss.
-pp and the jockey have some splaing to do?
-The EU and euro nations financials are going to be a real anchor to any US recovery, not-with-standing the fiat above and many more standing in the wings. Help!

Gotta read.

-Wow! The unemployment rate dropped to 8.5% in 12/11. Only 372K filed for unemoloyment benefits, BLS post prediction was 376.25K, they did it again! Only 50K dropped from the work force last month to be added to almost 16% unemployed, underemployed or just gave up folks. If one could add the dimensionless cottage industry losses, it's about 25%.
-pp announced a new military manning profile for the future. That be downsizing the Army and Marines to be able to only fight 1 1/2 wars at a time. What? Focus on the Asian-Pacific, pull troops from Europe, EU will have problems with that. AF and Navy staffing to remain as is, for now. Cut production rate for the F-35 aircraft. Oh yes, cuts in vet retirement and health benefits, which should enhance new GI enlistments! Here is the kicker: pp gets credit now for cutting spending, but one small fact... it don't go into effect until 2015. Big campaign issue, feel good now, the pain comes later.
-Californians finally come to realize their hi-tech, high speed rail system aint' gotta happen, because there is no long term source of funding for the $90 B needed to start the program. Hello Cincinnati, lets look at the low-tech street car plan that goes nowhere. Just maybe the funds could go to something less a novelty.
-Another industrial giant about to go Chapter 11...Eastman Kodak.
-Alaska seriously considering selling natural gas to Asian markets. Go for it, pp hates anything not green. Canada to do the same with oil, if pp and the LDP evironmentals continue to stall on the Keystone Pipe deal. Big Labor wants this pipe line as much as America needs it for national defense, screw the Arabs and Hugo.

Congress can do good things

-At the end of 2011, Congress allowed the corn (a starch) ethanol subsity to expire, which was good. Ethanol derived from a renewable resourse was good, but from corn was bad. It drove the price of foods, digested by humans through the roof. Plus it never met the criteria of replacing gasoline per se, for several reasons other than economic. 1) not as efficient as gasoline, 2) its senative to mositure,3) made distribution and storage complicated and costly 4) and because of the above issues, the internal combustion engine had to be modified or the ethanol concentration reduced to say 10 to 15% thus E10 or E15 were born. It was a bumber, but it did make corporate farmer rich and created several ETOH conversions plants around the country that can be used for other forms of syn-fuel as noted below.
-Creating 1-butanol from cellulose rather than a starch is a viable option. This technology has been around since before WWI. Its a component of corn stalks, switch grasses, wood chips, etc stuff humans can't digest.
-1-butanol packs 1.5X as much energy than plain unleaded gal. of gasoline, is less volatile, its not sensitive to water, its less flammable, has slightly higher octane rating, can be mixed with gasoline in any proportion, PLUS you don't have to modify the current internal combustion engines to use it at higher concentrations.

-pp should add this fuel to the mix and let the free market place prove it's continued use.

-Currently, pp is at the Pentigon, hacking and wacking away with the USA's military budget.

-This guy has to be given his shipping out documents on November,6 2012, and gone by Janurary 20,2013, at high noon.

A Day After Iowa

-Being a political junky, I got up at 1:15 AM this morning to take care of business and to tune in to to see how the Mitt Vs Rick race was going. Then Rick had an 18 pt. lead over Mitt, with two precints yet to report. At 9:00 AM the dust had settled Mitt slid in with a eight pt. margin. Rich did good. Ranks have thinned, as Bachmann bowed out. Ron came in third and Newt out of the money, is pissed off at the world. ( Is that how old history professor's act?) The TX governor flew back to the Lone Star State, assessing his options along the way, and decided to start over in South Carolina. Lets see, Huntsmann has been in NH for weeks now, just waiting for a real primary to start. Only 49 races to go. Get ready, set...
-pp's flew back in DC yesterday, after a 10 day vacation. He sent a video message yesterday to his LDP party caucues members in Iowa. pp Won! The dude on TV looked like a pp stand-in. He looked weird to me, too much Vit D? Perhaps it was the tan suit that blended pp to the background, and just his voice came out of this mass of tan. Weird indeed.
-pp jetted off to Cleveland OH earlier today to give an anticitated speech about the economy. Hech is was nothin' but a recess appointment of LDP OH former AG to be another Czar, Consumer Finance Watchdog of sorts. By the way pp also appointed three members to fill the NLRB positions, stacking the deck for the November Election.
-I guess nothing happens on the extension of the extension of the pp tax break, and the unemployment benefits... pp's Stimulus Bill III, until Congress returns from recess later this month.
