I did It!

1-I did not speak one word political, over yesterday's turkey dinner, in fact all day. I have relatives who can attest to my word at dinner. With my self imposed quartine, now viewed in the rear view mirror, the "WH Turkey" is fair game again. 2-Remember the story "If one had a infinite number of monkeys, typewriters, paper, time and money, those primates could type the Bible word from word from the facing page to the last page, including the Index, keeping it <400 pages when completed. This is a theory. It's never been proven. 3-Well, a 21st Century effort is underway in DC. The only significate change, the doer is an mammal further up the food chain... called man, specifically LDPs. There mission: to write and enforce, at the same time, a universal healthcare theme( a Law) for all ~300,000,000+ citizens of the US or A, but excludes themselves and their leaders. It's called: ACA Law dba O'Care Law. The is no limit on the number of pages of Law or regulations, now 2,500 and 17,000+ pages respectively. And it's far from universal. 4-This is also a theory, yet to be proven. But it was activated by only these LDPs and has changed at will, along the way. These Law changes are supposed to also be policed by US Congress That latter issues are suppose to be proctored by cops...called the US Supreme Court when requested. 4-To make matters easier, large chunks of the Law have arbitarity been lobbed off at will by LDPs, along the way and deferred because of their geometric shape being square, don't fit through a round hole set by Congress and the Supremes. That's cool, be illegal. 5-Tomorrow at 0001 hrs. the latest update to web site should be up and running, but the end is clearly beyond the horizon.

1-LDP media going bonkers. pp had the MSNBC crew at the WH for a pep talk earlier this week. Trailing out of WH like wiped ducks, found Cris Matthews, Sergeant Schultz, part-time Rev. Sharpton, Larry O'Donnell...CBS's 60 MINUTES took action and placed a female news reader on leave, Goofy Balwin was fired but nothing happened to Martin Bashir MSNBC yet, for his trashing of another CTPR female..ex-Gov Sarah Palin. 2-Ops, another delay in the O'Care roll out until for a coupe of years. 3-pp was off campaigning for O'Care in California last week, specifically to middle class people in Hollywood? Video clips didn't show any middle class folks, but billion-aire movie tycoons. This is his base, and bucks 4-With the Iranian nuclear talks complete, the independent debates on both sides have now...what the hell did we agree upon. Simple: Iran got anything they wanted and the US and EU reps scratching their heads. This type of negotiation dircetly form pp handbook??? 5-Do not speak one word about O'Care over turkey tomorrow. It's an order in the LDP households... 6-Happy Thanksgiving Day

1-US Sen Sherrod Brown LDP-OH ( career politican*), explains pp's errors in presenting O'Care "he didn't speak clearly" about the consequences of O'Care Law and the essentionals 'benefits standards'. "pp didn't speak clearly, and the people were mislead by it." "And it's his fault, but now pp is explaining more acurate all existing insurance plans need to have basic minimum coverage"...otherwise you have a problem. More BS to the n th power, the baster flat out lied over and over, and deliberately omitted critical passages from the O'Care Bill signed into Law in 2010. *US Sen. Ran Paul, CTP-KY, on FNC said about fellow politians... Everyone should have a real job in the economy before entering politics. His ex: was a MD, Opthalmogist with 20 years of practice. 2-Walter E. William had an interesting piece in the local Sunday paper, which has it's origins in Econ 101. Who pays the FICA Taxes? This is Social Security, Megicare (Medicade) and soon O'Care after pp transfers ~ $746 B from Medicare to the latter black hole. I bet Joe Blow on the street thinks 1/2 he pays and his employer the other half. He be wrong, in Econ 101, there is a clause know as Incident of Taxiation. Cutting to the chase, the employers share is passed along to the employee in the form of lower wage than that would otherwise be paid. O'Care fits. 3-Getting to the pp's head fakes of the w/e. This is more than a diversion. Well, Dirty Harry gets an assist, when following orders dropped the nuclear option vote requirement on his flock in the Senate. That allows pp to stack the courts and cabinet staff with only 51 votes rather than 60 senate vote, a tradition always held as a club, but seldom used in history. The LDP will wish they stuck to tradition, for this will come back and bit them in the ass, soon. 4-The other head fake, with assist going to DOS, for grasping out of the air, language that gives on the surface Iran wiggle room on their nuclear ambitions, cut slack in the sanctions, only currently beginning to affect the elite officals, and a hint of UN field inspections for nothing in return, other that to divert attention from O'Care for 6 months to get past the Mid-term elections.

1-Some LDP are trying to strike a comparison between pp's troubles thus far with O'Care rollout with Hurricane Katrina and #43 inital response. As if #43 created the mother nature made storm. Local and State sat on their dead ass as the storm filled the width of the Gulf of Mexico. Meanwhile #43 had taken steps to declare the area for standby help troops/ recovery supplies staged before the storm ever hit the beach. Furthermore Local and State would not relinquish goverance to US authority for help and aid to flow into the raveged area until they found they found themselves powerless. Only a LDP would come up with these two uncompariable cases. Pure 100% subterfuge, another diversion. Its an insult to an intelligent person to answer this joke, read the history books for facts. No further statement is warrented, period. 2-The WH is running with heavy sweat, on O'Care ongoing roll out problems and the un-truths are coming home to roost. This is evidenced by WH considering extending open enrollment date and pushing sign up date beyond 2014 election season. BS to n th power.

Fifty Years Hence!

1-It was, for both of us, what happen on Nov.22,1963, a sad, monumental date in our history. 2-You see, both of us were born to conservative, democratic, Catholic families. Our lot is best defined by following quote: 3-Mark Twain once said, " When I was a boy everyone was poor, but we didn't know it, and everybody was comfortable and didn't know it". 3-Our parents survived the Great Depression, on luck and a prayer, but mainly by coming of their second god "Roosevelt" (FDR), so they thought. 4-November 22,1963 shot a holes not only into our president, but into the second mythical era of another Camolot. Indeed for one brief moment, promise(s), but results left pending. 5-This guy, Kennedy was the first Catholic, LDP president, a "family man", that we elected into office. It don't get any better than that, so we thought. 6-It took almost another 20 years (1980), until we did some soul searching and determined the LDP agenda, really was not for us. 1-It was neat how pp handled last week's WH press briefing: He opens with a tear for the folks in the Phillippine's typhoon, then two questions on HealthCare/related issues, then he jumps subject to a foreign correspondent on Iran negotiations, then back to two domestic questions. That's like a head fake in a make up basketball game, except pp is heading for the opponents basket. 2-Retrogressing for a monment, to last Tursday's WH briefing. pp made an early-on statement to reporters, 'do you really think I am that stupid to go out there for months saying something, that is not true'? No one had a chance to respond and if he/she did would banished from press room, for life. He was referring to his stump speech where he said over and over again 'If you like your current healthcare plan and doctor(s) you can keep them'. Well, now you can. But sir, your O'Care Law doesn't say that directly? Next reporter. 3-Really, pp is inviting hackers from around the world to dive into O'Care web-site. 4-The WH reports the number of customers are ramping up, but with testimony yesterday hearing the site is a... hacker's paradise. 5-Another ill was reported in yesterday's hearing, the web site is far from completed! Glitches notwithstanding, the whole back end of the site lacks completion. In fact it's only 50 to 60% complete... end of Nov. another blown prediction. OK upfront, but the rear of the plane is missing. There is a big problem, there is no program to pay the hospital, clinics, doctors, EMS, other medical services and personnel. That would not bother pp, he has your money and cares less when those agencies are paid. 6-Currently, however pp is meeting with state insurance regulators and separately with insurance executives to work out some kind of deal to supplement those agencies if there is a short fall. Grand lanceny at the Medicare Trust Fund next. 7-Meanwile pp's approval numbers are in parity with Congress and sinking faster. 8-Requiem for O'Care, sooner than later, pp a lame duck to 01.20.17.

Four Score and 7 years ago + 150 years!

1- This is the 150 th anniversity day since President Lincoln spoke his 10 sentences, 272 words Gettsburg Address. Perhaps the best selection of words utter by humankind to date. 2-In the shadow, pp will not be able to attend the above event, for he is adding bales of duck tape around his signiture work of the last 6 years...O'Care. 3-Gotta tell you what happened to me eariler ths AM. I received a invoice for some tests conducted in June 2013. The invoice was all screwed up it. Primary insurance was incorrect, secondary carrier was...none. So I go off on a mission to correct. First insurance t/p called was answered by (I am not kidding) her name was "Peggy, how many I help you?" I couldn't help from laughing. Two ladies later, bingo...got problem solved. Now we wait and see. 4-I believe both of our primary/secondary health insurance are safe, from O'Care for now. No one knows for sure what pp is going to use for money to support his O'Care Law, when the number of people and the mix of people apply do come close to balancing. Medicare for sure will be hit, pp said so for years. Medicare solvency is my concern as pp sucks out ~$800 B to balance the books pp's way.

1-I know the subject has been pretty much worn out by now, but fits the charade going on in the WH. 2-O'Care is completely unraveling and its not caused, as another black "O" from Chicagoland said. Is not O'Care his signiture legislation, strike that last word...the executive branch can't legislate, they execute the Law. Otherwise its unconstitutional! Is there anything you don't understand Ma'm about the 2,500 page of the Law and 17,000 pages of regulations and counting, that you don't understand? 3-Ms. "Winefree", just what did the POTUSA do for your people in the last five years? Aaa...not much, not much at all, but it's the whole middle class that's hurtn' and that's because of white haired , white men ruling class. Halt it right there Ma'm. 1-For crying out loud, why has Congress not screamed bloody murder, with this WH, legislating ... change after change, major changes to the O'Care Law of the land? Just because pp initated the Bill, doesn't mean he owns it and can change on a wime or for political reasons overhaul it as he pleases. BS squared! 2-Thats the job of the Congressional Branch who legislates and admendents the Law, the Executive Branch enforces that Law (as amended), and the Judicial Branch, assures the Law (as amend) is indeed in the spirit and letter of the Law and takes corrective action, if not. pp's by-passing Constitutional procedures. 3-He believes because he is black (half black) no one will lower the hammer on him and/or the Camel Herder. Discrimation!!! BS to the nth power. 3-pp meeting with insurance executives today to force them to extend healthcare to those millions who lost their policies, for a year, since it was determined not to met the bronze, silver, gold, platinum O'Care standards. 4-Oh! here is a fact...those insurance companies who buckle, and renew the deleted policy, and then redo it in a year, there is a $20B slush fund CMS/HHS will dish out. 6-Now you delete the displaces insurance folks with their old plans, plus those who opt out for Medicaid, plus the lack of the youth buy-in need for health insurance, all substract from the 7 M new O'Care needed to be in the "black" financially or the Feds' need to issue QE 4. 7-This whole thing stinks of fraud! Maybe the only person who will not be affected today one way or another by O'Care. Note! the following is my ad-lib of pp late mid-day news conference. 2-By order of me, the POTUSA, to Insurance Carriers around the world, who dropped millions of people off their health care insurance policies, by what I may of said inadvertly, put them back on the rolls mox schnell, do you hear me? If I said earlier ( Sir, you said it ~30 Xs in last 3 years+), "If you like the health care insurance you have, you can keep it". I now meant it, but for only one year. Huh!!!!!!! But, but, Sir, how can you order any insurance company, who for business reasons had been dumping policy holders for the last three years, who didn't buy your BS, that they must re-instate all policy holders, healthcare providers and staff dropped by Dec 1 or Nov 30, whichever comes first??? 1- I can't take credit for the subject post, it belongs to President Reagan. (Page 549, pg #3 in a book published by Free Press titled "Reagan...A Life in Letters". Its authored by three relative unknown authors who added the only the introduction and commentary through the book. The body of book covers his life, crisis, but focuses on his political career before governor, flip from LDP to a CR and the years as CA's govenor, the eight years as #40 POTUSA in letters and notes he penned and posted during those years. It presents his private thinking on a range of subjects. He was born for the job. Like a history book, you can't read it in one sitting, but do read it. 2-Last night we watched a National Geographic presentation "JFK". On Nov 22,2013, JFK will have been assassinated 50 years ago. You really should watch the NG's presentation. Some parts have been colorized,in HD, that give you a more personalized version leading up to Nov 22, 1963. Some parts are in B/W for contrast, for later generations. No one can predict what #35 could have done, if able to serve his out his first term, perhaps a second term. However, no US Senator has ever served with honor, their creditability challenged, fogs any long term achievements. Ok! JFK created the Peace corps, first LDP to cut taxes and cut sending, and chased women around the WH on company time. 3-Then you got #44 in the WH now, the reluctant leader. He has no clue what he is doing, the associate president Vallory Jerritt is calling the signals??? Flushing the US economy down the toilet and making a fool of himself and the US of A on the international front. Ok, he is the first black POTUSA. Hard numbers are due from Frau Fuhrer later this week. 4-I believe pp/HSS bent the cost curve so much, it has exceeded the elastic limit where it will collapse under its own weight. 5-Someone suggested CBS's 60 Minutes should change their format and re-name the program 65 Minutes. The extra 5 minutes could be used to issue retractions from previous week.

Another myth crashes and burns!

1-No, it's not O'Care. Not yet at least. It's the five second rule. Another Ivy League school discloses picking up and consuming food accidentially fallen to floor within 5 seconds is a myth. 99% of the bacteria is transfered immediately. 2-HSS just issued a new reg. all existing health care insurances must cover mental health and substance abuse just like physical illness. DNC chairman was the closest. Had that election been held one week later he would of lost based on the O'Care baggage. 4-A CBS news reader screwed up. Interviewed a US military witness that wasn't near the site. The best part he lied and it was a known fact prior to the interview. Trying to beat FSN is tough. 5-New jobs added to the economy was 204,000 in October during the gov't being shut down for pp's owned sequester. That meager number has been close to the monthly average for months. Summation: The sequester had no effect whatsoever. 6-pp behind raising the minimum wage to $10.10/ hr. x 2,000 hrs = $ 20,200/yr. for a 40 hr/da. Because of O'Care,employers will drop < 30hrs/wk. pp looses. 7-These folks will not have O'Care either. HSS is thinking about... 8-Yale where Art Carney attended, a student got busted for deficating in the dorm's laundry machine. Art would not of done that he would blame the CTPR who didn't exist as a whole when he attended Yale U.

Now father, I am surrounded by staff of idiots. Wait a minite I want to tell you my VP, GI, is to be excluded from that gang for he is the best VP in history, and he is my bud! NO, No, he didn't send a congraduation note to the Toronto's mayor, for standing his ground. 1-Hope this blog goes through! E-mail me when you receive. 2-I was surprised yesterday to see pp in a Dallas office hallway pitching his O'Care Law. What is wrong with Cowboy Stadium? Looked to me they carrolled a hand full of folks, in an exitway to a parking lot. Where are the millions of followers? 3-Following Senate O'Care hearings yesterday, a dozen red state and other LDP senators stormed to the WH for a closed door 2 hour meeting with pp and staff. Feedback not available yet. 4-In chess, the currently operative term "check" seems appropriate for the LDP senators. It's "checkmate" come 2014 mid-term. Both houses of congress safely in CTPR hands, makes pp a lame duck. 5-The housing sector seems to have slowed, several LDP calling for a decrease in the Dodd-Frank Law requiring 20% downpayment. A flash back to Zip's years, now doesn't it? 6-The GI did it again. Congraduated the wrong guy with the same name, as the new Boston Mayor. Just think, if some quarters think pp will resign before his term is up, puts the GI in the WH. GI could serve the balance of pp term plus two terms of his own, makes MP a super senior.

Comments on Elections Day 2013

1-What occurred in Virgina's governor'r race is the same thing that got ZIP elected to the WH in 1992 and 1996...a strong third party show place finish. 2-Re-election results in NJ governor's race sends another strong message for 2016. 3-Two LDPs ran for mayor of Cincinnati. The more conservative candidate won. Maybe real, long term problems can now be addressed before Cincinnati heads for a Detroit finish financially. Like address the $864 M unfunded retirement debt and halting the stupid streetcar project and re-think outsourcing the parking meter debacle, other issues. I don't have a dog in this fight, since I live outside the city limits. 4-I believe I found out "Art" Carney WH spox problem. While he will forever be branded the biggest wimp of all times, but also the biggest waste of the English language in history...trying to interrupt pp's ever changing mis-information or shall we say... flat out lying, is tough. But couple Carney's words with his facial expression and body motion makes him look like a small child with his hand in the cooky jar. 5-Besides being another Ivy League grad (Yale) like algore in journalism, Carney does understands and speaks Russian. Maybe if Carney gave his daily press conferences in Russian he might fine Russian weases words to further cloud his message at least buy time. The media in general, are beginning to follow FNC lead and blast this WH and the LDPs.

1-Prior to and after the ACA was made law, pp's typical sales corner speech, at least 30X, climaxed with the passage "If you like your current healthcare policy, you can keep it, period. The same was true for your doctor, period. 2-With hundreds of thousand of existing folks received letters from their insurance companies indicating their insurance would be cancelled come 01/01/2014. Because the policy doesn't meet ACA minimum standards. WH speech writer got to work. 3-Side Bar: Just last night the pp's speech writers, following other quarters to eliminate the word "period" from the US version of the King's English. Those same quarters, want to replace the word "period" with a dot. 4-How-some-ever, pp changed his pitch, but the word "period" sort of disappeared in pp's speech. Another change in scope of work, was made by the CEO again When did the project manager find out??? 4-Found out how the contractor(s) were hired by CMS. As suspected... on a cost plus basis. Katty bar the doors!!!. CMS spox said any extra work would be done by contractors on gratis basis. Really! Hey babe, its cost plus contract, the only way to stop the flow of invoices is to fire the contractor right now. Contractors don't work on pro bono basis, unless under the table.

1-In mid to late 1990's a variance to accepted Design/Construct Project/Task Management/Engineering methohology was attempted to satisfy the subject of this blog. It's purpose was to expedite the Project Engineering facet of a design, but still develop a 10% +/- cost estimate, get local sign off, obtain Corporate Capital Asset Request(CAR), so manufacturing can commence at the earlest possible date. 2-To generate a loosly developed scope of work, generate a a +/- 10% estimate, so a CAR can be presented for Corporate approval mox schnell, was like a kamikaza mission for the project engineer/manager. 3-Say the CAR was approved, the project engineer/manage immediately had to retreat back to square one, to finalize the scope of work, ramp up engineering staff to provide the civil, site development, structural, final spec/order process equipment, development piping and instrumentation diagrams, mechanical electrical design and issue competitive bid packages. Assuming a 2-week turnaround, then award contracts. The contractor would secure the necessary subs to complete the work. The contractor would reported to the project engineer/manager. 4-Here is where the variance came in. Skip the ramp up of engineering staff. Rather issue a total contact to the low bidder or from an Corporate list of approved contractors and have contractor(s) complete the engineering, of which many had no clue especially the subcontactors that make up sometime the majority of the contractor's manpower loading in the field. 5-Oh! one thing the company project engineer/manager would submit the equipment specs and electrical/instrument specs. to contractor. Like predicted above most contractors/sub don't have the inhouse engineering staff so they went outside for support. While the company project engineer/manager, knowledgable on the total project sits and signed off on invoices and reported progress of which he has to pump out of the contractor. The contractor had little skin in the game, the company project engineer/manager becomes the fall guy. 5-Results: the project crashed and burned long before the project is completed. or anything and the approved funding is expended. Chances are this contractor will not get a repeat preformance at this site. 6-The fall guy attempts to salvage the project or recommends cutting loses and scrap the project. A lost opporunity for the Company/Corporation, but the competition benefits. 7-Rather the Design/Construct Project turns out to be Construct/Design project. 8-This methodolgy still existed and is evidenced by the O'Care roll out

1-Halloween here was a bust. 2-It's program got drowned by the reality of the gods' of lightning, thunder, rain, and high winds. 3-Shall we say, Halloween promise didn't met its hipe. 1-There are several avenues available when preparing a bid package. Essentionally, there are three basic contracts: Fixed Bid, Cost Not-to-Exceed and a Cost Plus Contract. Hundreds of variances exists, but for simplicity, lets just stick with the three note above. 2-I have serious doubt HSS/CMS (Owner)issued a fixed bid contract since the 2,500 pages ACA Law and the 27,000+ pages of Regulations, some of which are still being generated now 3 1/2 years into the Law's existance. They probably issued a contract on a Cost Plus basis.
