Approval Rating

PP approval rating tumbled at least 10%, since earlier this month. The Economy and Foreign Policy cut the bump in ratings following bipartison agreement on the "Bush Tax Cut Extension and the trailer of spending items attached, plus his pep rally at the Tucson menorial service for the six killed and a wounded congresswomen et.al. Really PP is in the same sinking boat.

The next time PP gives his Saturday morning U-Tube talk, think about this. Doesn't he look like the cartoon characture from the 1950's "Kilroy was here?"

Folks who bought homes in 2008 using the government tax credit of $7,500, guess what? You have to pay it back starting with Yr 2010 Tax Returns at a rate of $500/Yr. In case you sell your home, using the above tax credit, you have to pay back the total balance. The government is here to help! So they did, if you bought a home in 2009 or 2010 you don't have to pay the tax credit back, provided you stay in the house for 3 years. They also raise the tax credit to $8,000.

I had a dream

I had a dream last night. The US Marines were charging the beaches of Tripoli with PP leading the charge with but with a highly held saber. Gradhafi boldly standing at water's edge. A Spanish pistol in both hands. Marines were falling on both sides of PP. He didn't stop, but shouted for his men to keep charging and ordering artillery fire. Libyan troops atop the rise, but flying body parts. PP kept rallying his troops, come on chaps, bully forward doing whatever humanly and spiritually possible. Just as PP was within gun shot Gradhafi let both pistols fire. Passing bullets went thru PP, he tripped and the saber went flying through the air and struck Gradhafi in the heart, Both victims fell to the sea swept beach, mortality wounded.

The drama was too much and I sprange out of bed and attempted to run towards our fallen leader. Just then a loud voice could be heard. What the hell are you doing? Saving our fallen leader. Say what? The voice echoed in the confines of a area. Yep, he got two holes through him. That's not the only thing wrong with that dude. Said the voice. Now totally awake, the voice was... my wife. Now get back in bed...that war is over.

The whole thing above is done in jest, to add some fun to a Friday afternoon.

It was a play on Teddy Roosevelt and his the Rough Riders charge up San Juan-Hill (Cuba) Spanish American War. Really in this case there was a little fudging of the facts. It really wasn't San Juan Hill at all, but Kettle Hill adjacent. Military history now refer the event as the "Battle of San Juan Heights" Now you know the rest of the story. Have a good weekend.

Just Yesterday

It wasn't a spudnut moment. A teaching moment, no way, too incoherent. It was a Kerry Moment. Yep that's it! "I was for it, before I was against it". PP is speaking about the "Marriage Act" that has been in affect since Billy the Zipper's watch. He had a dream Tuesday night, that cleared his decision. Thus his statement on Wednesday. Or is it an act of a desperate man, throwing some raw meat out to divert attention, as HIS empire is falling to ruins? Strike the part that follows the (,) in that last sentence. This guy is nothing, but an empty tin cup. I said that during campaign 2008.

IN 2010, Ex Fed Chair Allen Greenspan made this statement "The United States, and most of the rest of the developed world, is in need of a techonic shift in fiscal policy.
Incremental change will not be adaquate. Lets try this statement on for size.

Up WI way, they are trying to take the first baby step in appling Greenspan's analysis and the LDP lawmaker haul ass and seek asylum in a neighboring blue state, Illinois. LDP lawmaker in IN followed WI path. Lord only knows what they will do in OH, but the C-TP-R party own the state, so I don't think it matters. Only 43 states to follow.

George's Birthday

If George Washington were to have visited this his country today, he would hang his head and plea for Scotty to beam him back up. His country is falling apart at the seams. In 2011 there is no leadership whatsoever, is in evidence in the WH period.

Think about this a minute: the people picking work for us, the taxpayers, have collective bargaining priviliges is wrong to its roots. In the adjacent state of Indiana, the LDP senators left the state following WI's idiots. Forty-three states to go. Should be an interesting summer.

Just last night an American hero was addressing his fellow Columbia U (PP's alma mater)student body about his real world experiences in Iraq. The fact these people hate us and want to kill any American. The students booed and heckeled this Army warrior and student member. By the way the decorated soldier took 11 wounds and lost his leg saving his mates. Attempts are being made to reintroduce ROTC at Columbia U.

al-Quddafi addresses the world and states he is not leaving Libya, and will fight to his death. The Libyian dictator has commanded his military forces to fire point blank into fellow Libyians that are protesting. Not a word out of the WH and another canned statement by State (HRC). Got gas today $3.29/gal, by July $4.50 and counting. PP is sitting on a ocean of oil and/or shale oil and natural gas and he is pushing electric vechicles, wind mills and solar panels which will not come into vogue big time for another 15 years, meanwhile...

Iran sailed two war ship through the Seuz Canel/ via Red Sea today, with the New Egyptian military administration permission. Israeli's eyeballs all over this situation. By the way we don't have but one ship in the Mediterranean. Where is the 6th Fleet?

PP's 2012 Budget

For a moment lets go back to just after the 2008 election. PP cut loose an army of financial, banking and academe (community organizers (latter-day Czars) to look over the so-called "lost decade of failed Bush era financial management". What this august group's finding ( Paul Wolker ex-fed Chair) were nobody knows, but it became obvious PP didn't take their advice. PP was off on his own private agenda and to hell with what had happened in 4Q08. Time started again with PP being born (in Kenya): closing Gitmo, recind Bush executive order on embryonic stem cell research, including take over manufacturing and banking companies, no limit on spending included, but not limited to failed attempt to get the 2016 Olympics for Chicago and more importantly to circle the world on a US apology tour as he saw history. He deligated this responsibility of budget creation to Pelosi and Reid, and thus the mess of today. Later in 2009, the Grinning Idiot speaking out of order admitted to the press "WE" didn't know the depth of the ditch out front. Oh really! Little did GI know he was in the ditch on one of PP's shovel ready stimulus projects.

Lets see in 2010 the LDP party owned the House, Senate, and the WH, but failed to issue a budget for the whole blasted year. But PP did establish a bipartisan "Debt Reduction Commission" shortly after "His policies" was badly beating on election day 2010. Spending cuts is going to be a top piority, sure. ($400 B over 10 years, no way dude, mega bucks!) We still don't have a 2010 budget but operating on a continuing resolution.

Just like in 2008, PP apparantly ignored the "Debt Reduction Commission's" recommidations for the 2012. The Budget has $8.7B in new spending "investments", $1.6T in new taxes and $13 T in new debt(more investment)for what helping the 46 of 50 states in the same financial ditch?)

A line is being drawn in the sand, currently snow, in Madison WI which will act as a primer for the the other 45 Governers to follow. The days of free lunch are over.

Notice there are doctor(s) making house calls, to the picket lines in Madison, WI They are issuing permission slips for "sick" teachers and others picketers to give to their superiors. I told you Madison, WI is a LDP bastion, that's where collective bargaining was born.

I imagine the docters participating are not native WI's, but are trucked in like some of the protesters. In any case if the doc is a doc, regardless the local, their shingle should be pulled and the doc arrested.

Reality Intrudes Again

Roit pandemic spreading from Middle-East to Middle-West, USA that is. Madison,WI is a baston of LDP and Columbus, OH. More to certainly come since 46 of 50 states must stand up and face reality, their broke. It doesn't matter if they are red states or blue states, the reality is the same, as well as for that Big White House on the Hill in DC. This is what pisses me off, at the expense of children's education,3 days now, educators are calling in sick, while on picket line at WI capital and at elected officals homes, the latter being a crime. Wisconsin's LDP senators 14 all, fled to neighboring Illinois to avoid taking a position on a financial tipping point for their state, that hey helped create over the years. Rackm' up.

Hanity's Show

Earl's boy put it quite simple terms...PP either has to lead, lag or get the hell out of my way. PP not serious to curbing our national debt and deficits. PP is playing games and does not grasp the gravity of the crisis. He keeps running back to Paul Krugman at the NYT, for more Keyanism information. Dude you can't spend your self out of debt.

To expand on Earl's boy tax issues. Do you know the US Corporate Tax when both federal and state taxes are added together exceed 39%. The only country that has higher rate, is Japan and they have been in the toilet for almost two decades. Japan today is considering lowering their corporate tax rate 10 to 15%. Socialist Europe tax rate is in the 25-28% range. With high tech internet a company can be located any where. Why not in a tax friendly country?

Today the number of unemployment applications has jumped to over 400,000 again. Heading the wrong way, Mr President. But watch next week rates after BLS cooks the books the number will be down. Smoke and mirrors. Can't believe any #s and %s coming out of the PP Administration. Guess what? The new tech industry that are thriving today, smart phones, iPads and others gagets are low labor intensity. The employment rate in this industry ramp up is small compared to say housing, autos, appliances. The kid that runs FaceBook, with the President today to get some pointers. HaHa!

Ethanol

Noticed commodity prices cooling down for metals and lags that of Agriculture products, especially corn, cotton, and wheat. I wonder why? The EPA ethanol mandate has eaten into the corn reserves for one thing. Inflationary forces also at wotk as signs of the global recession ebbs and demand increases.

Ethanol created from corn, a food staple, was the stupidest decision ever made by the EPA, although they made a lot of asinine decisions in the past. Ethanol created from grass fibers, other organic waste, products that are not digestible by humans, has been made /used by the Germans back in WW II.

BY the way, did you notice a German firm is about to take over the NYSE?

I believe the Chinese would buy the state of California in a heart beat. Might be PP's buried trump card, to get out from under ever increasing debt and deficits. What that? Throw in Washington, Oregon and any other blue states and make a package?
After Nov 2012 there ain't gonna be that many blue states, so be careful what you wish for.

The Egyptian Experiment

Lets see...after over 3 weeks of 24/7 protests, they got rid of one guy. Correction: there were over 100 people killed also, but they don't count. Nothing else changed, the army is in charge now, they were before the riots also. Maybe the square got a little paint here and there and the bricks and stones are being returned to the street pavement or to the building walls, fetched during the protests for projectiles.

The coalition of youth groups are beginning to voice their needs and wants.
Lets see... most of the youth that protested were unemployed before the riot are now re-unemployed. The is a tremendous void with the constution set aside and parliment dispersed to the four winds and the banks are ... broke. Egypt has 80M souls, 18M in Cairo alone. The army is the sheriff in town. But when push gets to shove down the road, the old top grade military staff will high tail it out of town, following Murbarak. The young turks will abondon their posts and join the new rioters. This is where it gets dicy; the Muslim Brotherhood and et.al. bad folks enter stage left.
This protest pandemic has reached many other North African and Middle Eastern nations, the latest Iran where I rout for the protesters, like I did in June 2009, when PP left them dangle. What is going to support the bridge to democracy???

Note to the State Department: In the meantime advise the DoD to move the 6th Fleet into the Mediterranean Sea in force to protect the Seuz Canel and the Red Sea shipping channels. While at it wipe out the rebels in Solomia and in Yemen.

What a difference an election can make.

The clueless snapping turtle has come out from under a rock, where she has resided for the part two years or so. She admitted in congressional testimony, just yesterday: (1) that there are such things as terrorist, (2) she stated the word "terrorist" at least 60 Xs during testimony, (which about 60 Xs more than previous two years), and and... some are home-grown right here in the US of A. And and... the terror threat is high? Don't know what "high" is, since the color code system is history. I feel much better now that Homeland Defence is on the same page as the rest of the country. Now if only we could do something with another ally... Mexico, and shut down the damn 2,000 mile border.

Humm...Is the CIA under L-D-P administration equally clueless, for not giving a head-up on all the uprisings that occured in the middle-east? Gosh! aren't all the nations under seige, our allies?

You don't have to wonder long, to understand why Senator Jim Webb D-VA. will not run for a second term in 2012. Just, look above as an example of an idiot is running one of the PP cabinet post. Former Senator George Allen R-VA should have no trouble winning back his seat, if he don't make any off-the-cuff stupid statements or words about minority groups and don't go on U-Tube like the former US House R-NY.

Chamber of Commerce

I don't believe PP's address of yesterday, to the Chamber of Commerce reached the acceptance bar of a "spudnik moment". Perhaps it was a reverse "Teaching Moment" for the guest speaker. The only way US of A is going to "Win the Future" is not by slogen alone, but rather by some serious removal of the blanket of uncertainty that PP has placed, in general, over the business/manufacturing world. More taxes, manage by regulations and executive orders was PP's approach to 11.02. It is dawn of a new day and the old ways of shot gunning his private agenda i.e. huge spending binges, O'HealthCare for everyone at no oop costs, diving for minority issues, excessive bank/finance reform, banking/ manufacturing take overs all lacked a common thread of contunity, other than to placate the left and far left organizations. Mr. President, just look at the election map, post 11.02.2010; there are a lot of people out there that don't like you.
The bleeding budget states 46 of 50 are beginning to approach the WH for more "stimulus money" to get them out of trouble. The answer has to be absolutely NO! File for bankruptcy, and reorganize the various union contracts that are bleeding the state treasuries. This is what should of happened to GM and Chrysler, but for the UAW.

They could of skipped the half time entertainment, but that's just my two cents worth. Was there a message to the Black Eyed Pea's songs? It would of been nice if they sang their songs in English, for I could not understand anything they were singing or was that shouting? Sorry if I offend any readers of this blog. Are the Black Eyed Peas from? The USA? Figures!

I also skipped the pre-game O'Reiley's interview of PP. Highlights later seemed boring and the answers were predictable. There were no "sputnick monents". It's not what PP says, its his record or lack thereof that must be discussed. For example: Which side of the Egyptian protest are you on today, Mr President? Nicholas Kristof's newspaper article states: "Come on, President Obama. You owe the democratic protesters being attacked in {Egypt} and own history and values, a much more forceful statement deploring crackdown" It was Mubarak's thugs charged into the square and began attacking that caused the bloodshed. The protesters are not even included in the so-called Mubarak transition talks. Its June 2009 Iran all over again. Bet on the Muslim Brotherhood, et. al. taking over Egypt and other middle-eastern countries. Its approaching an "Oh Shit Monent".

Interesting fact from Michael Barone's Almanac of American Politics calls Ohio "the first entirely American state". Interesting! The orginal 13 colonies began as British colonies and the next three (VT,KY,TN) were carved from those colonies/states.

The Nobel Committee recently lowered the bar of acceptance, by awarding it to PP for doing absolutely nothing, to promote peace during the first week or so into his administration. Now some believe Wikileak's founder, Assange should be a candidate for 2011. The recent Wikileak's disclosure: to secure Russian approval of the Start Treaty, the WH is alleged to have disclosed the number of nuclear weapons in England's inventory. That's not cool, if true. I don't think PP should hold hope to be knighted, by our oldest ally, any time soon, if ever. How did that info get in the hands of Wikileak, since the Pentagon's PFC leaker is in the brig? Very interesting. Wikileaks either fabricated info out of thin air, or we have another Pentagon or State department leaker, or the leaked info was boggiest, to fool the Russians. Putin may invite PP for a state dinner aborad his yacht, for a cruise in the Black Sea. Man over board!!! Maybe a new candidate for the Nobel Peace Prize? Come think about it, PP would probably sent HRC, he likes to delegate.

The WH currently is having a time of it, to determine which side of history they want to be on with the turmoil in Egypt and the Middle East in general. One day or hour they are with the protesters, the next time with the current government, the next with the military. Just maybe that is there strategy ... total confusion, similar to the domestic policies.

Thousands of black starlings dropped from the heavens in ND...attribute to officals who had set out container of poison to rid the town square of a menace.

Thousands more, this time red winged blackbirds found dead in Arkansas...attributable to blunt force trama caused by loud noise that startled roosting birds. The birds flew around in the dark crashing into houses and trees. Is rap music permitted in Arkansas?

Great news for the folks currenting in the 2,100 mile long winter weather storm... the groundhog predicts an early spring.

Chief Broken Axilrod being sent back to the reservation. Supposly to work on PP second run for the presidency? He was quoted to say some thought he a genus... strike that... a genius early on, but now must think of him as an idiot. I always though him to be an idiot, shady, confidence guy who would roll his grandmother under the bus to advance his cause. Why would PP want him on the re-election campaign? CBA better look at his travel itinerary, probably a one way ticket to Chicago with a note "don't call me, I'll call you.

Conditions in Egypt and now Jorden tighten the noose around Israel even tighter. PP better figure which side of history he wants to be on before Israel takes unilaterial action. Israel would attack the core problem of all the uprisings...Iran. Strike at the juggler vein and hard, that would do three things: set back Iranian nuclear bomb makeing potentional, cause a second revolt in Iran similar to last June 2009, but this time USA would not sit on there ass and check the polls, thirdly show strength, in the vacuum caused by all the uprisings and stabilize conditions in the middle east.

A new day!

News reporter added to FNN is John Roberts. No, not the Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court thats John Glover Roberts. The other Roberts joined Fox on 01/03/11. and reported from London last evening. He was formally with CBS, most recent CNN as a morning show anchor.

Florida's court struck down O'HealthCare as being totally unconstitutional. WH to appeal, and this Law will wind up eventually in the US Supreme Court, where the Supremes will vote 5-4 in favor for total repeal. As to a New HealthCare Bill being restarted or not depends if it can be funded without drowning the State's Medicare/Medicaid Laws, of which 46 of 50 states are operating in the red big time.

Meanwhile other C-TP-R efforts in House and Senate forms a second bunch to the O'HealthCare Law Reforms.

The senior US Senator from D-NY flunked a recent civic's statement. He named the House, the Senate and the Executive branch as the three branches of US Government, forgetting the Judicial Branch all together. I believe he will become well acquianted with the latter branch, when O'HealthCare Law is debated and voted upon.

The middle east in general, is at the boiling point. The Muslim Brotherhood, as I understand it, is the farm team, for all of the other radical Muslim Islamic groups throughout the region and perhapse the world. Looks like a Jimmy Carter moment 1979, but this time to the n th power. Israel is being squeezed as if in a olive press. If USA don't act forcefully, Isreal will, for self preservation sake. This will create an "Oh Shit Monent" for the WH. PP would like to revisit his earlier mid-east trip, when he told the crowds, he was apologizing for all the wrongs committed in the past by his country and he wants to build better relations with his brothers.

The Suez Canel and the Red Sea shipping lanes are of vital interest to Europe and to the United States. Really the ingress and egress to the Red Sea is guarded on both flanks on the south, by Somalia and Yemen, already Islamic strongholds, hostile to Westerners.
When will PP stand up a declare a national fuel emergency crisis and say "Drill Baby Drill"?

If you are driving one of the all electric automoiles in the upper eastern half of the country today, toss in another pair of longjohns, a blanket or two. You see running a resistent heater in an all electric car sucks up the power reserve in a heart beat and may leave you out on the Interstate stranded and freezing. You can always call the WH for help... like a tow truck.
