President and Congress are back

Well, Peter Pan has returned from vacation, all full of piss and vinager started by a savage attack on Republians/Conservatives and some blue dog dems, over not passing the $ 30B small business loans, that are covered by spending offsets. Remember he even called in from vacation, but there was no one home, all on vacation. Just what this small amount of money is going to do in a $ 14T economy will do is like throwing a stone into the ocean. An the bill is a bit foggy as how the moneys are to be expended. Some of the loan is going to small business as intended, but I understand there is some being diverted to states bleeding red. Beware small business owners, he who givith the loan probably will taketh away come 01.01.11, when the Bush tax cuts expire.

Don't forget to tune in at 8:00PM tonight when PP addresses the nation on how he is declaring the combat mission is over in Iraq. I wonder if "W" name is mentioned and that HE is reading the script for this event created by "W" and General Petraus and Iraqi deligation back in 12.2008. But, there is one variation in the PP rendition there is no sitting Iraqi government after almost 6 months since election.

A Monday morning laugh

After returning from yet another vacation, but cut short yesterday, to visit NO on the 5th. anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, PP is now rested ready to tackle the JOBS issue. On Friday Sept 3, the second of his economic team, 6x6 Christine Romer is leaving because of fatique and is just plum tried. She is returning to her left coast lifestyle. Meanwhile, PP has to replace her. Maybe with someone already on board on the WH staff, like a guy named something like Goonsbury? But PP would rather recruit a women to fill the position. You can just sense the state of urgency. The position should already be backfilled, so no time is lost. There are 20M folks out there that are either unemployed or underemployed. Hell no, continue to flounder and the dem progressive will be endangered species come Nov 2. So what is wrong with that? I am worried about a lame duck congressional session and rash of dem progressive bills being passed, while they still have a majority.

A Sunday Extra

Gen Honore acknowledged the master strategy of the emeny in this situation. "If he had been attacking the Gulf Coast, he would have used the same tacties as the deadly storm". A 'classic military maneuver' using overwhelming power and the element of surprise to cripple communications and blocking transportation routes. Only one access road to NO area was passable...I 10E. Staging of resources was fanned out in a 180 radius to north of the effected area, out of harms reach. All this had to be funneled west, then south, to pick up I 10 E, to enter the city, which took time. And the storm covered its flanks by breaching levees and distroying railroads. That's the real story... reality intrudes again.
With that in mind, it should be interesting, how PP frames the above event and the way "W" was blamed for arriving late, compared with his handling of the one localized oil leak in the same Gulf, fifty miles out to sea, that could be attacked from 360 deg. took three months?

Why is California, the #1 State in financial ruin? Well, here are a couple reasons: Cities which you probably never hear of, like Bell and now Vernon who pay their rather small pay the city officials meg bucks. The city managers are paid almost two times PP's pay scale. Yep! Almost $800K/yr. The whole pension system in California and other states, primarily the federal government need serious review since meg bucks are going to street cleaners pensions and the like.

Speaking about PP, his salary should be based on when is is present in the WH. This dude needs a time clock mounted on the wall of the oval office. Why Clinton spent more time in the WH than PP. Maybe that's a bad comparison? Anyhow he spends more time on vacation or playing golf... while "Rome Burns". He really doesn't give a shit, he is clueless at what the American public in November are going to do with his secular- progressive roadmap. He dispatches the Grinning Idiot on a road trip talking up the economy and what the various stimulus bills have acomplish over the last 18 months. BS. Mainly back filling dollars to states like California and most if not all the other 49 states and they are still bleeding red. The WH has to get real and fast, major spending cuts in both federal and state governments, school systems/ pensions, coupled with extentions of all the Bush tax cuts, extend compliance dates points on the O'HealthCare Law, as no one understands the rules made up on the run, of that law that was stuffed down our throats. Await the findings of the Medicare/Medicaid fraud posses sent out earlier in 2Q10. Major bucks should be discovered, probably equal to the dispatched posses expenditures, but that's OK, if it stops the reoccureance year after year. Henceforth, insurance and healthcare agencies employ external financial oversight auditors like the rest of the business world does.

Over ~450,000 new folks filled for unemployment this past week, but according to the WH it was below expeditions by ~ 20,000. The previous week, they were totally suprised when it tipped the 500K number. Gosh! these dealing in all negative numbers would be tiring. I got a problem, when does WH post the expected predicted? I wonder what happen to the $60 B the US used to bail out GM last years? Someone(s) should go the jail on this one. Chrysler was also given < moneys, and they will eventualy go out of business within 3 years.

Go to your villa in the Dominion Republic. You screwed the system long enough. Better yet, take Maxine and her hubby with you.

She had the audacity, to call the House back to pass a senate bill ($26 B) with outsets, so a zero impact to defects, for a 6 month fix for cash straped states. -sends his elder daughter to 5 star summer camp. What's wrong with Camp David.
-sends his wife and younger daughter to Spain for vacation along with 40 - 60 slaves at a cost > $375,000. Oh yes, the guests did said Hi to the King and Queen, part of the cost is therefore a tax write off. What didn't they just go back to the Gulf Coast for gods sake and just call the King and Queen...collect. Look at all the tons of carbon spent flying a fleet of support jets, trailing AF 2. Where is algore????
- As a cost offset, the WH fired another economic advisor. They don't last long in the WH thats why Peter Pan wants the ex-gov. to fill the slot... between his trials.

Lets see, we have two dem/progressives US Reps, standing ethics charges going to trial, maybe in September. Lets watch the race card play out. Simple solution: establish term limits on the lot, four years and out.

WH on vacation again

Lets see the US economy is still in recession, and the first family is on vacation again? The first dude, is by himself, in South Chicago celibrating his 49 the b-day. The first lady and youngest daughter is in Spain and the oldest daughter is off to summer camp. That don't sound like a typical American family agenda for this years vacation. Since this is still early August, more vacation opportunities are upcoming, do you think?

Some 40 American billionaires agreeded to donate up to half their fortune to charity, is very interesting. Do you believe perhaps, they want to control where their money is to go, before the WH lets the Bush tax cut to expire and the WH decides the disposition of their monies?

Its unbelieveable to listen to Peter Pan take total credit for the planned removal of all combact troops in Iraq,( a 50,000 rear detail to vacate 12/11), by years' end 12/31/10 AS HE PROMISED IN HIS CAMPAIGN. Hold it right there dude. #1 this is only August, don't count your chicken until they come home to roost( Rev. Wright). #2 it was President Bush and his Iraqi counterpart who set this date way back in 4Q08. #3 it was predicated upon the new Iraqi government would be up and running. It ani't and the elections were held 5 months ago. #4 Violence in the streets can be controlled by the Iraqi army and police forces. There has been an uptick in violence of late, and we are still at 150,000 strong. Wait until 01/01/11.

On the other hand, President Bush's name is used often, by many dem/progressives when it comes to Peter Pan's dead in the water economy plan. We just didn't understand where the economy was when we enter the WH??? Mr. President, in the business world (of which you don't have one former businessperson in the WH), you do what is called as due dillgence, you don't trust the folks' balance sheet and supporting documents, you verify with your own people first. From recall, but I could be wrong, Mr. President, didn't you have ~39 or so economists and bean counters on staff before you ever won the nomination?

President Bush will have the last laugh... the WH don't know what to do with the Bush Tax Cuts which are to sunset by years end. It they let them expire the economy will be hit with a new tax increase, just when the WH is sucking air big time.
