A Second Front

-Note: For the sake of convenience and to eliminate confusion all future political blogs will refer to:
POTUSA, WH, VP, Cabinet Members, Spox, DNC, LDP as just DNC.   Likewise the RNC, Presidential ,VP Nominees, Spox,  CTPR as  RNC.

-The RNC has a golden opportnity to open a second front,  sadly a gift for what happened or didn't happen on the 11th. Anniversary of 911.  Finally the DNC has admitted 16 days hence,  that the spontaneous uprising in Libya Sept 11, 2012 was indeed a terrorist attacked that killed the US Ambassador and three other US support personnel to Libya. Flat out lies and cover up by the DNC blanketed  all media outlets, world wide, except one, the rest are beholden to the  DNC.

-It is now known the DNC had knowledge < 24 hours that the Sept 11, 2012 riot in Benghazi was indeed a terrorist attack on "American soil " at the Benghazi Consulate office and the safe house ~1/2 mile distant.


-Just yesterday FNC learned the FBI sent by the DNC on or just after Sept 11, 2012 had not reached the Benghazi Consulate Office yet because,  it was declared too dangerous.  That leads one to ask a fundamental question.  Why was the US Ambassador and the other three US support personnel doing in Benghazi in the first place?  On or before the eve of 911?  . Why was the US Ambassador not afford extra protection?  Oh! I know!  The DNC > 09.11.2012,  ordered addition Marines detachments sent to Embassies, where riots over the U-Tube video took place?   -Another dumb question, why send the FBI to Benghazi, whenever it becomes safe to do so?  Will not the site be contaminated of any evidence.  Just have the FBI interview the new Libyan president, he speaks the truth, I believe.
 -The  annual expenditure  to the US Taxpayer to  keep the the DNC in WH is $1.3B.  What is the ROI on this" investment"?  In DNC speak, support costs or expenditures are called investments.

Review of Data

-The more one studies recent polling data from key swing states, like OH, FL, VA, WI, others there are striking similarities.  These states are better economically positioned in most cases,  most all are under new management, and most are of the Class of 2010 CTPR party.  FNC touched on this subject yesterday Not sure any follow through followed..
-Perhaps recently polled folks in these state may not know the truth from fiction, and depending on how the polling questions are structured are squeezing the data towards WH/LDP, a pp accomplishment, when he did build it,  the CTPR did.
-The One on One October Debates, will flush out the BS from the real facts, and  map forward... the CTPR way.  pp's ole boy facade, coupled with Rev.Wright's pulpit delivery, without teleprompters will turn the great one, into a Chicago mob boss.   The VP debate should send the GI to the train depot for a trip home to Delaware

40 Days

-The Bible speaks of 40 days many times, usually as a trial or test is involved.

-Well, something is bad wrong with the Presidential polling data coming out of OH, FL, VA and other possible swing states,  now only 40 days from election day.
-With the economy drifts along in Sargasso Sea, the skipper is MIA, the crew is on a 360 deg. search for anything drifting by that they my save the ship of State from sinking, and behold... could they have hacked into the polling data?   That's a stretch but...
- The worse the monthly/weekly financials, unemployment rages on, new employment a <100k 11="11" bogus="bogus" bucks="bucks" by="by" class="goog-spellcheck-word" constant="constant" eu="eu" fed="fed" finger="finger" force="force" hanging="hanging" i="i" like="like" mo.="mo." of="of" print="print" revisited="revisited" said="said" sept="sept" shrinking="shrinking" skilled="skilled" style="background: yellow;" the="the" their="their" tips="tips" while="while" work="work">POTUSA
is MIA and the differentials in polling reports lean favorably toward the "incompetent one",  there has to be something seriously wrong. -Events in Afghanistan are seldom reported other than the 30K surge troops are being sent stateside per pp's whim as we speak (set at West Point a year or so ago when surge was announced).  There are some 68K US troops still in Afghanistan along with some NATO troops.
-Meanwhile, conditions on the ground have become so lethal  for US and NATO troops,  that cross-training of Afghan military has stopped.  Cause:Afghan turncoats, Taliban / al-Quada infiltrators believed wrongly to be our Ally's,  are using our troops as target practice, put a new meaning to infighting.  Another pp whim all our forces in Afghanistan will be gone by 12/31/14.
-Well we have to do something in the next 40 days. I am thinking about rendering my services to the RNC phone banks.  That is,  if I can operate out of my bunker..

Passing vehicles on I 75

-By chance,  for < nanosecond this morning I was on the same earth's latitude, the longitude was off by a smidgen ( the width of two lanes of I- 75 and berm barrier), with the CTPR/RNC VP Nominee.  Yep, I was heading south on I-75 S going to a Northern Ky. model train shop to pick up an order and supplies, when the VP's  caravan was heading north from airport I-75 N somewhere  south of the I-74 interchange. He was going to an RNC  rally in the northern  burg known as Carthage, then onto Dayton, OH
-A interesting comparison was made by the VP Nominee to the confusion caused at last night's football game referee's call , that has the nation calling to throw out amateur refs and bring in the professional referees, with that of the WH handling of Libya assassination of the US Ambassador to Libyan and three other Americans plus riots in almost 50 countries around the world on Sept 11, the 11th anniersary of the original 911.  Forget the anti-Muslim video most people around the world did not and will not see.
-Meanwhile in NY,  pp addressed the the UN assembly with written words, and spoke little, if anything to any humans, other than his handlers.
-Out with the Amateur and the GI,  in with the professionals, take over the US Senate, reinforcements for the US House.

An American Dream

-An American "dream catcher" busted last Friday, as the last of the Space Shuttles hitched a ride atop a 747 Transporter to LAX,  perhaps the same transporter plane that delivered it from California fab/ assembly shops to Cape Canaveral, several decades earlier..  Eventually it will be moved by trailer/tractor to be an perimeter exhibit museum in LA.  Sad that such an "endeavor", doesn't have a follow up program, except for pp's abstract thoughts landing on a comet???.
-The future of space travel will be in retro blasted back to the 1960s.  Without NASA the civilian contractor coups don't have the resources both human/ material /equipment to move the space program forward or is there something to take it's place?.
-Just last Friday out of the Apples' California shops, really out of Chinese shops, the I-Phone 5 was born.  Millions of people stood in line for hours to buy one of these wonders, some laying down their  last unemployment checks at the register.  Only 5M or so,  got their Christmas present early, others are on back order.  By time the back order are filled,  I-Phone 6 will be released.  That's continuity,  that's  lacking in the space program.  But out the space program, computer technology might not come along until much later later? Gosh,what is the end product of the I-Phone "X", I-Pad "X" I -whatever?  Except words and data captured on a tiny screen all marked up with finger prints right now.  I am just jealous those gadgets were not around 70 some years ago, I might not need a bunker to report from?  
-In the future a chip or a bank of chips will be embedded at birth,  in your brain with taps coming out of your neck for uploading your brain,  a  Dr. Frankenstein prediction..
-Usually in past centuries, new inventions were a result of warfare spin off,.  NASA was a peace driven "endeavor".
-One more thing, some analysts believe the I-Phone-5 could by years' end create a 0.5% increase to our GDP.  That speaks volumes on the condition of our economy now doesn't it. Mr. President?

Up the food chain.

-The DOJ's  self appointed IG, submitted  investigating results.  Found 14 people guilty in Ops Fast and Furious  in the coverup that lead to death of US agent Brain Terry.  No the CH nor his side kick Brewer were included in head count yet.  A couple of underlings either resigned or retired so far, more to come maybe. Who is responsible for Terry's death?

-E-mails were found in the above case that linked LDP's Media Matters and the DOJ's  information director.  Her head will probably roll.

-As suspected,  the Libyan Consulate was declared an al-Qaeda attack on Sept 11, 2012  and  not connection with the anti-Muslim video.  The leader of the attack was a Gitmo Alumni  released in 2007 and had financial ties with the original 911. The US Ambassador to Libya, perhaps the other three American killed, was tortured before being killed.  The Ambassador reported earlier in year to State (MP)  for fear for his life, also  reported  there was known build up of al-Qaeda in Libya. Yes, < 100 miles east of the Consulate (Darnah) as a seed bed for al-Qaeda operations.  The Ambassador  had no or little security force with him other than the two for Seals accompaning  the Ambassador and his assistance.  There were "friendly" Libyan security people in the area.  Who knows they may of been part of the terrorist mop who attacked the Consulate.

-Meanwhile in Cairo, it has been made known,  negotiations with Muslim Brotherhood over the possible release of the jailed blind cleric held in US had been stalled.  The blind cleric  is serving a life sentence for the deaths in the bombing of the World Trade Center in 1992. Why was the WH discussing such talks?  Explains the sequence of attacks Cairo first, Lybia next.

-pp, GI, MP, carney ( spox for WH),  and the rotten rice US spox at the UN, flat out lied to the American public.

Video and Photos

1-Of the 50 some riots in the Muslim world over the states-side preacher's video, some 28 people have been killed.  Mostly Muslims men, women and children and  4 Americans.  Only one incident during the first wave on Sept 11 was accompanied by AK 47s, RPGs, and mortar fire ( like Al-Qaeda uses) on the under maned US Consulate offices in eastern Libya.  I think that action qualifies as an assault.  Killed four Americans, one the US  Ambassador to Libya.  In times past, that was grounds enough to declare war.  Today we are not certain if it wasn't some of the "good" rebels the WH and State supported during the No-War with Libya earlier in the year.  In any case, the WH and State have discounted every thing more that just a typical Muslim riot caused by the video, until the IG report is made known some time after the election and depending who is elected.  This is called  closed transparency.

2-You can, but I don't give a tinkers damn anymore on the media reports on who is leading in the US polls, media projections, or to what is being served for dinner, by whom at the WH on 01.20.13.   Gotta fess up, except maybe FNC (73)

3-The Brits have hit hard economic times, as the rest of the world.  But I believe the Royal's shouldn't have to donate the clothes off  their backs to charity.

4- Another question: How many successful treatments for incurable diseases have been developed using adult stem cells, causing no harm to the stem cell donor?  Answer: see ( ) in bullet item #2 above.

Then comes Monday morning!

-pp's long legs straddles both sides in the Chicago Crisis.  Sitting Bull  (former WH chief of staff) , has to stand with the School Board,  the other  Chicago Union Teachers,  strike continuing for a second week ( one of pp's favorite union groups).   Mr. President, Charter Schools in the same area, have not  missed a day of schools this young school year.  Prediction: Sitting Bull will wilt and give the union worker most every thing they want.

-QE-3 = hyper inflation in the near term.  The economic stagnation of the last 3 1/2 yrs. was caused by you , Mr. President across the globe,  after the US recovered from a recession in 06/2009.  Your lack of lleadership, your private agenda superseded that of the nation's priorities, and you flat out lied on several occasions, especially leading up to the O'HealthCare Law*. You foreign policy of leading from behind don't seem to be working real well, if a all.  If you were a CEO of a corporation, you would of been gone at the end of the second year.

-WH throws a third stringer  US Rep to the UN Rice into the Sunday Talk Shows to explain the Arab Spring in September, 2012. That should of been the Secty. of State MP.  The US Embassy people killed in the Libyan riot, worked directly for MP not for the Rice at the UN.  Actually the uprising has now occurred in 50 countries and counting.  It is not all about the US born U-Tube video circulating the ArabWorld, or the 11 year anniversary of 911, or the lack of foreign policy coming from State or the WH. No, it is a mix of all the above but first a simple fact:  The radical Muslims in the world hates the US of A and most all the western world. The only thing they respect is LEADERSHIP/ Power/Command/ Control.

It's the damn video

-Riots at US Foreign Embassies and/or Consulates continued yesterday  in 21 countries around the planet.
-The WH and DNC points up the riots had nothing to due with Sept 11, rather if was caused by that stateside generated damn U-Tube video depicting there Prophet in shame.  Riots certainly  not  against the US foreign policy.   Hello!  These radical Muslim people around the world hate the US and our ilk and want to destroy our way of life.  Back to the 12 Century.
-Debbi W.S., DNC Chair to emerge from hiding, tomorrow.  Be interesting how the LDP media handle her flat out lie at the Convention.
-QE 1 + QE 2 = 0.  Hence QE 3 was hatched?  Too much, too late for  WH/DNC.  The inpact will not be felt wntil the  fall 2014.  We will be at the door step of HYPER INFLATION, unless there is a resident change at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave and the CTPR take leadership of the US Senate.
-WH to purchase ~15,000 Chevy Volts for governmental use only?  Reduces WHGM inventory to ~ 50,000 vehicles.  Can purchased at deep discounted price or procured through a almost no cost  two year leasing contracts.  I wouldn't  place a plug nickel down this looser.

Coming apart at the seams

-WH foreign policy is collapsing.
-WH, others had a 24 hour heads up on the Libyan Consulate assault and did nothing.  Well pp continuing campaigning.  Four Americans died including the US Ambassador to Libya.
-Maybe the WH and DNC had earlier info on the upcoming soft target Sept 11 assaults?  Proof, perhaps the reluctance to add back the words Jerusalem and God to the DNC platform at the Convention.  Remember, the senior senator from Illinois went bonkers when FSN just asked why were those words taken out in the first place?  Apparantly the person (s) to took out the words and later reinstall remains in hidding.  Couple that with a later pp snub of the Isreali PM for a meeting in NY after the UN session?
-Chicago Teacher Strike took to the streets last night, hard to distinguish the difference from Cario, Egypt?
-Gas prices last night in Cincinnati was $3.96/gal,  as crude nears a $100/barrel.
-With the Feds cranking up the $ printing presses, QE-3 was born.  Something close to $90 B/mo to be printed for a time to be determined later.  If hyper-inflation is the goal that's what is going to happen.   Only cheap money will  do is lower our $16T+ debt figure.  If the economy has been a pain YTD, take a deep breath when hyper-inflation takes it grip. However, its takes 12 to 18 months for these cheap $ to have an impact on the street.  A sugar high for investor, market crash to follow.

Rebirth of the Arab Spring

-The WH and the LDP media got there underware twisted again.  Their leader is down 30- Love. RNC scored two aces in a row: a)  first to visit Isaac storm damage in the SE, b) first to respond to the subjet matter.
-Radical muslims celebrated 911 by striking soft US targets abroad.  In Cario it didn't take much for them to attack the US Embassy.  Primarily  over an video coming out of the US, that put their Prophet  Muhammaden to shame.   pp on campaign trail, was in process or issued a statement of apology. The  RNC nominee also campaigning,  made a statement that the  pp message of apology didn't show leadership. No deaths occurred in Cario reported. Later pp stated that Egypt is not an ally nor foe... whatever that means?
-Coincidentally,  in Libya a similar attack of the Benghazi Consulate Office.  The US Ambassor and his aid was killed and two other Americans died.    Apparantly, the Ambassador and his aid recently arrived from  the Embassy in Tripoli, for unknown reasons.  Military presence at the Consulate Office was light, at best.
-pp response of the RNC nominee statements to be shot first and then aim, a practice perfected by pp.  You lead from behind.  About 150 miles to east of Bengazi is a city of Darniah a strong al-quada network presence.
-Later more attacks occurred through the middle east.
- pp dispatched  reinforcement troops to all US Embassies and sent two war ships to Eastern Med.
-The constant negative trend in new unemployed ~380,000 added.last week.
-To get some idea of how bad economic growth is, the new I-POD 5, could add 0.5% to GDP by years end.
Here is a killer:  Two LDP reporters were heard over an open mic, setting questioning strategy.  So what?
It's a BFD when one reporter is from NPR, the other CBS, needed proof that some if not all LDP station sleep in same bed.

Yesterday

-In a weird sort of way, the world's terrorist also use "yesterday" to remember their 'martyrs' who tumbled our towers and drew first blood.
-No matter what or how much pain we take to hid our idenity, the US of A is still the largest elephant in the tent.  This is evidenced in the fall out of the ongoing Arab Spring.
-Words mean nothing to radical societies or their surrogates.  Events in Eqypt and worse yet in Libya stand as prosecutor's proof.
-Lack of US of A "...LEADERSHIP" is fundimentally better understood by the radical ones the world over, than the current WH and the LDPs.
-I support the RNC Nominee to taking the initive and become the point man, while the incumbent  reads from a script someone else wrote.
-Our incumbent is also between a rock and a hard spot up Chicago way.  The three way contest is between Sitting Bull, versa the highest paid/ unaccountable Teacher Union on strike, versa the parents and their children.  The ultimate loser are the children.  By the way charter schools are open and have been in cesssion since the school year started.

Sept 11th again.

-The number of "American"  who perished 11 years ago, in NY, DC an PA will never change, forever in our minds and hearts.  But is it not time to move on  from the huge TV gatherings, roll call, and tolling of the bell.  I can remember Pearl Harbor and  most  of almost  5 years that followed, to when VE and VJ Days occurred.  I lost relatives, neighbors in those Wars. Made a youngster grow up fast to the realities of life, if we do the hard things or take the easy way...nothing .   Ever year those events are celebrated  mostly privately, by a diminishing number.  Here is an idea, why not recongnize on Sept 11th, the ever growing head count of GI's  who surrender their lives,   so that we remain safe from foreign and domestic attack, this the eleventh year.  That list is greater in length than Sept 11 list.  Gosh we did that! Remmender during the early years on the War against Terror, the LDP stations read off a daily list of dead GIs arriving at Dove USAF base?  I got issue with that however,  it was done not necessarily for reverence, but for LDP focus groups.. .

Closing comments DNC Convention

-No it was not Merlin the Magician who made the 50,000 people to disappear that were standing in line for tickets to BOA's Pantner Stadium.  Juan W. reappeared on FOX Wednesday nite, perhaps to redeem himself for his uncalled for remarks on Mrs Romney's speech during the RNC,  the week earlier. Juan indicated  the DNC was stuck with thousands of "no show" tickets for the next nites grand finality. That deception, chased the  DNC's  back to TimeWarner Hall, coupled with Thursday's three voice vote debacle  to reinstalling the missing reference to "God" and "Jeusalam"  into the DNC 's platform, the  DNC chairman Debbie W.S flat out lie, speech by that same person , plus a speech from an escapee from Madame Tussauds' Studio (MM) , the radical one from MA,  the all about me Zipper speech, left pp with the bases empty and he struck out

The 400th blog...Let the race begin!

-Two (2) man teams and their surrogates will race for the next 59 days, from coast to coast, 50 states all.  Really only 4/25th or (16%) of these states are in play.  They being IA,CO, OH, NV,VA,FL,NC and NH. Four interior states, four right coast states, seem to hold the destiny of this once proud, properous, and the envy of all nations on this planet.
-The incumbents speak well, but their achievements  proved to be out of priority, dissappointing, unfulfilled and dangerously harmful to the health of the Constitution and the well being of it's people especially the military.  Their major ackivement... O'HealthCare Law was not even stated, may indicate the honesty of how this administration operates.  What is done in the WH stays in the WH!
-Before the Convention , pp was asked, by a network media station, to give a self appraisal of his POTUSA term in office.  He graded himself INCOMPLETE.  Earlier in his term it was B+ , a little later A-  After the Convention, I believe the silent majority gave him an F.   That's after the ZIP and GI pleaded with the conventioneers and TV viewers to give pp a second term to fulfill his mission...What to continue down the road to a socialized nation? Even a dummed down society, that which the USA have become, can see through this vale.
-On the other hand, the challengers offer, what the incumbents can not or will not get there mines and arms around..., how to manage the largest corporation that was ever created by man,  for mankind ...the US of A., a free enterprise notion.  The two former US Senators, both LDP, incumbents,  lived off the government for most if not all their lives, believe rightly in their mine set,  that government, with unlimited spending can complete the American Dream.  That's pure BS.  Proof it don't work:  one only has look at what is unfolding before our very eyes  in Europe today,  the socialized nations are coming apart, like unpeeling an onion.  History is littered with socialist or communist nations that have failed after <100 banner="banner" enterprize="enterprize" for="for" free="free" has="has" nation="nation" over="over" succeeded="succeeded" the="the" this="this" under="under" while="while" years="years">200 years, under both Democratic and Republican administrations until now.  The incumbents want free passage, with all the 99%ers voting for them.  I pray this Nation has the wisdom, to see the obvious.
-The CTPR party challengers have condensed their < Convention goals from 59  to a manageable 5 goals at the Convention,  like business/manufacturing/banking  trained executives across this nation are taught.  I guess Law School is different?

"Forward Stop"

-While I never received a telegram in my life, but I  remember from old movies, that in telegrams, the word "STOP" followed a statement or a sentence in lieu of a period (.). Thus, when the (.)  was added latter,  to the  2012 DNC Banner "Forward"  the DNC or was it pp himself, whomever, sublimablely added the (.) ...   STOP,  the game is over, this is the best we gonna get?
-The jobs market  data, post DNC Convention , paints a continuing dismal picture. New unemployment filings up +365,000, new jobs created up by only +196,000,  Now,  this is where Merlin the Magician comes in, the % of unemployment in workforce dropped - 0.2%. from 8.3% to 8.1%.  Huh! pure BS!  Don't report on the ever decreasing size of American work force. 
-Perhaps the WH and certainly pp had upfront knowledge of above data, and thus this had more to do with change in  the location for Thursday's night grand finality,  than any pending sprinkles from the heavens on a sunny day in NC.  People remember Denver 2008,  with the Greek columns, 80,000 cheering crowd with the promise of Hope and Change.  The WH called an audible on the field, work at Panther Stadium haulted and a mad scramble to retreat under shelter of the TimeWarner Convention began.  Need Merlin's help again.... the Stadium holds 65,000 people - the 20,000 that filled the Hall,  leaves  45,000 left to wonder the streets of Charlotte?  That would piss-off the NY Cardinal.  Side bar comment:  The Cardinal  gave the final benediction, as he did in Tampa.  Somehow I believe the paths of the NY Cardinal and POTUSA will pass again before Nov.6,2012?
-The DNC Convention ended before pp was introduced, the GI did an excellent job proping up his boss as best he could.  The key... same old message "OBL is dead", "GM is alive", thanks to pp.  
-The DNC Convention ended as a Supernova.  A sudden increase in brightness followed by a catastropic explosion , following the total collapse of it's core.  A black hole is created.  No ballons, a puff here and there of recycled confetti. That's all folks!

Reasonable Doubt

- Act 1 If anyone has any reasonable doubt why the LDP/DNC should  have another whack at running the country  for four more years, you have just arrived from another planet.  On the other hand, one can not distinguish the proceeding going on in Charlotte, NC, from that of a Banana Republic.  Gosh, it appears FNC interview earlier of the senior  US Senator of Illinois,  got the underwear of the whole LDP/DNC party twisted.  All that was asked,  why were the words "Jerusalemm" and "God "removed from the DNC platform?  The senior US Senator of Illinois when  bunkers and would of left the booth to escape answering this simple question,  had the booth  not been located near the roof.   That simple question, burnt a hole trough the LDP/DNC, all the way to pp.  A WH spox now says, pp didn't see the final DNC platform , and took direct action to have those words  reinserted.  The FNC's simple question remains unanswered...why?

I believe some of the LDP/DNC underwear are still twisted.  Especially the Jewish and Christine voters -Act 3 There is an old saying "bad news gets better, in time"  Not necessarily true, for the LDP/DNC.  When one dumps God's name,  He could  rain on your parade.  Pending weather for the Charlotte area calls for storms to hit  on Thursday. To be safe, the DNC halted  the contractors working to convert the BOA Panther Stadium, into a Roman Theater,  Earth, Wind and Fire Rock group were to preform there,  a huge fireworks display was to follow pp acceptance speech.  Gondi act will not recreated  indoors (that's my creation).  All this stuff at BOA Sadium to be move into where they were for the last two days. The fire marshall prohibits exploding fire works inside the TimeWarner Convention Hall,  the Rock group don't know if they will fit in such tight quarters.  For certain there will not be 100,000 colorful balloons,  but confetti is being made from brochures, banners, speeches, poll results and the like. 
-Act 4.  Last night's speakers were diversions, redirecting blame not of what is really important...where are the jobs? the growth of the economy heading in the wrong direction? , where is the leadership forward, not backwards.    Mother Moron, Fluff, Warren, others spoke but on narrow beams of individual agenda not of whole US of A..
-Act 5 Then much later, The Zipper D-AR appeared from a nap, to carry on a dialect of the 1990s and not about America, the bridge to the 21 st century he so often referred before his 8 year term limit ran out . He confessed some of his achievements were much easier that when pp took office, the hole out front was deep and pp is still shovel ready to return the US of A to new heigths.  When, what is the game plan?  FYI:  The Zipper rise to the be POTUSA for two terms in 1992 and 1996 was not accomplished by the Zip,  but someone else did that.  A little guy is stature, articulate, a business man from Texas siphoned  votes away from the RNC candidates and let The Zipper win with less than 50% of the vote both times. Gotta go back to Jimmy Carter D-GA for a real LDP/DNC majority winner.  Where is Jimmy Carter? 

Yesterday, all my dreams.....

-To be honest, the frig is still stocked, and I only watched snapshots of the DNC Convention, last evening.  Rather than waste a complete evening, my wife picked up some DVDs earlier in the day.  Now she is not deeply involved in geo-political issues as I,  she never the less selected one DVD, entitled, "The Iron Lady".
A title the press/others gave Margaret Thatcher, the PM of England, during the Reagann years.  She, Reagann, and Pope John Paul II  history records,  were the driving force in the defeat of Communism.  She was one tough Conservative, the only lady in a highly socializeed Parliament.  Her battles chiefly were with her own countrymen, similar to the policital stage in America today.
-My take away from the DNC last night:  More BS than substance. What the various speakers said was elementary,  regardless the author or pass the facts check , that all things can be accomplished by "government investment" i.e. more taxes and spending.  The magic aanswer,  tax only the top one or two percent solves everything. ..<$100 B/10yrs.  Sure thing Mr President.  Where did the $10.3B go, the HSS reported collected in the last 3 years by clamping down on Medicare/Medicaid fraud.?
-MamaO got high marks for her speech about pp.  I ask, if not her who else knows these details.  VJ in the WH?   But you know something...she didn't write that speech, someone else did it for her, I bet.
-Here is something you might not know, the $16Tdebt was reached last Friday, but Treasury decided to hold release of info until and  after the Labor Day week-end, just before commencement of the Convention?
Tonight they roll out the Keynote Speaker, the grey haired, red faced "The Zipper".  I suppose, by magic, the Zipper will set the table to recreate the 1990's economy into the second decade of another century.  Do you know this, the Zipper didn't create the 1990's economy boom someone else did.  Congress,set the stage,  another Bill (Gates) harnessed the Internet, so joe blow ( maybe that not a good analogy, J.Q. Public) could use it, Windows was invented.  Billion upon billions of dollars were expended, both private and public, to avoid a computer crash -- when the clock ticked to Yr 01/01/2000 ( didn't happen) plus all the New Century  parties here and around the world created a boom in it's self.  It also happened when the Zipper and Greenspan began to fettle with the economic cycle,  increase tax if economy rose is too fast and reduce credit when the economy begins to tilt downward.  Since interest rates were so low, people spent there money rather that to save.  Plastic money took off  like a rocket.  And anyone could purchase a home if they could afford it or not, and we know the result in 2008 and still today.
-Don't be surprised come Thursday evening when the DNC moves to the BOA Panther Stadium for pp's acceptance speech.  pp will be  dressed in just a Depends Dipper siting cross-legged on a rug in the middle of the football field on the 50 yard line, in deep prayer .  No one is on the field except pp and Merlin the Magician.  Wild beasts, of all sorts , circle the new Gondi , and Merlin the Magician., as he prepares to read from parchment paper, a text he didn't write himself,  but someone else did it for him.  Trumpets on high , blare >85dBA  at a 1000 ft distance for an hour (outside acceptable OSHA limits and punishment by fine or iimprisonment or both to someone in charge. That seems to be the problem, who is in charge?)  The New Gondi begins to speak, Merlin the Magician continues to stands to his left side approximately where Clint Eastwood empty chair stood at the RNC.  The 75,000+ people in the stadium watch on jumbo ddigital TV of a speck on the field.  New Gondi speaks, the speakers blare,  but no one can hear him for the hour long ttrumpets deadens there hearing and Merlin the Magician can not cast a spell to unplug the aattendees ears. pp is hoping that another Hurricane Isaac to appear soon.  Let the game begin!
-High twitter response reported by FSC, during MamaO speech.  But no one knows who these people are, maybe they are kids < voting age, or just having fun screwing up the stats, but definitely a younger generation and more response that recorded at the RNC.

-"Are you better off today, than four years ago"?  Following is GI's answer to his question yesterday. He has a  bumper sticker..."OBL is dead, GM is alive".  Is this question/answer all there is to the LDP accomplishments for the last four years?  I sure hope, GI was quoting from limited memory.  Maybe his script was still in the Secret Service van,  stolen from the hotel parking lot in downtown Detroit, Sunday nite.  Maybe that's all the Chicago WH allows him to say. Reality check...so OBL is dead, one person, the war is still going on in Afghanistan, not necessarily well for NATO/US.  Ok!  GM is making money...but its stock is down from IPO, GM has yet paid back billions of dollar of gift money WH gave them.  Same group backing the Chev Volt hoping for a jolt.  Jury still out on that case. Score 0 for 2.
-Today the nation's debt machine tally tops the $16 T.  The pp Adm. contributed $5 T in  <4 years.="years.">-Viewership of the RNC Convention was down from Yr.2008 for both candidates at  the top of the ticket.  Uncertain how to read these stats?  The RNC bounce is still undetermined.  Attributable  in part or total  to the RNC Convention ending on a holiday week-end, impact of Isaac, and the back to back ramp up of the  DNC Convention, and just plain apathy of the electorate, kids going back to school.   Must compare poll stats two weeks before RNC and two weeks after the DNC to get a better response and direction for both teams.

Happy Labor Day

-Well the drought that has plagued a good portion of the US has ended.  The after mat leaves only outlining parishes of NO and isolated areas in Isaac's path to recover.  A fraction for the previous meteorologygy visits of to the area,  in Yr.2005,  in lives lost and damage caused.   The stay-at- home Governors and local officials working together,  managed  the evacuation/ resources and made this happen, someone else in DC didn't. 
-The RNC/CTPR Nominee has a leg up in visiting the troubled  areas, days in advance of the POTUSA.
The DNC/LDP's Convention  to convenes shortly, and they are going to try to turn "a pig's ear into a silk purse", so to speak.   How they are going to spin pp's administration achievements of zero into believable, truthful. and honest messages to support the notion that he deserves a second term, really escapes me.  I will watch, take notes, tap the stocked frig of suds, and issue an occasional blog.
-For God's sake,  the POTUSA has to get a handle on his "good" war in Afghanistan.  The pp's strategy for US premature retreat and premature hand over to the "Afghanistan Army is once again in a quandary.  pp doesn't give one iota for the lives he hold within his hands, that are formed by his OJT policies, that lack the word winning... this war.  Gosh, he declared  the war in Iraq over and brought the troops home, to stand in the employment lines or was the table set for him by "W"?  All pp  had to do in Iraq was clean up?  Maybe  pp coulda' kept the troops on active duty and redeployed them to that other war that was changing from good for pp or a another  regurgitated "W" responsibility.
