RNC Convention a go!

-In spite of TS, now Cat 1 Isaac, all systems are go for the RNC consolidated convention to re-start their engines.  Really I think these convention(s ) could be done as a routine, in three days and save money.
-It appears the Hurricanes Katerna/Rita  experience is forcing affected Governors to stay home and manage the effects.  pp did his TV appearance, when it was just  TS Isaac,  and used word I only five times. pp is off campaigning in Iowa and Colorado.  I bet pp will not do a Bush flyby of New Orleans and let FEMA, State , local governments and and military do their thing. But will fly into Louie Armstrong International and divert resources from the people that need attention.  He is that big an ass-hole.
-Another Armstrong, Neil, the first US astronaut to walk on the moon,  is being buried in Cincinnati.  I  mis-informed some,  by saying the last US astronaut to walk on moon had recently died also.  Gene Cernan is very much alive.  Both of these guys were grads of  nearby Purdue University. Neil was a professor of aeronautical engineering at University of Cincinnati for several years, after leaving NASA.  I guess Armstrong  knew where the center of the universe is!
