"Chuck, I'll be damn, we are Republicans"*

-The plywood panels over the windows and doors are being removed.  The roof and yard debris is slowly being trucked away. The storm has moved on.  No, this is not N.O, or Biloxi or Daupine Island or any other site in Isaac's path.  It's prep work to ready a South Side Chicago  mansion, the owners are heading home soon.
-The CTPR party speaker roster for the first two nights of the Convention was done and preformed with surgical precision,  preparing for a total transplant of LDP resident in the WH, rousting the Senate stonewallers, and bolstering the majority in the House. We must live within our means plain and simple.  It going to hurt, but we have been hurting for the last almost four years with no new ideas in sight. A change in LEADERSHIP is needed.
-The VP candidate preformance was super, Miami U of Ohio and all USA can be proud.  He didn't hesitate, but paused occasionally to let the message mellow in the mine of the attendance yes,  but to the 40+ million of TV viewers.  He is real, articulate, the numbers guy, sharp witted, a generating skipping junior partner on the ticket, compassionate, a family man, religious.  "We can do better, we will do better". A key point...or you can  live in your childhood room til age 26, starring at a faded picture of pp.
-The key speakers tonight Newt, Jeb, Mark plus a guest speaker (bet 3:2, the Don) leads up to the Chief Surgeon,  "The Gov" is to extracting the heart of the DNC for decades to come.
-We repeated watching the Convention on C-Span and on completion of the VP's speech switched to FNC, Cnn,  and msnabc,  to get their take.  FNC dumped Juan W (I may of confused some with the WW initals), objective reporting, viewed in the big picture, lead in to the VP candidate of  Huck, McCain, Rice, added older mature reasoning,  why we must lead the world or we will have a world well like today,  or a world leader we do not want, believe they were speaking of the UN.  USA must lead from the front.
- Gov. Martinez, reinforced the Hispanic viewers--to success is better than being  intimadation, fiscal responsibility is paramount. Cnn-- was starting to nit pick the VP's speech,  msnbc--well, the same collection of misfits, enough said.
-I can not imagine how the LDP can stack up a speakers roster to match the CTPR,  much less an agenda of nothing accomplished.  An old  commerical comes to mind...a spoon full of Geratol , heck a quart of the stuff to all LDP speakers.
- Hey, do you know where the saying ..."watch your P's and Q's" comes from?  Jolly ole England...."mind your pints and quarts of ale, don't get drunk, I guess.  I got my frig stacked up with Ale, Porter, Pils, Stout, Lager etc.  ready for the DNC Convention.  That's the penalty for being a political hack.
