181 to go!
1-Another 1st for the Reds. The first major league team, to opening the season with a Interleague team ...California Angels.
2-I believe the Reds pitching staff had the most recordable strike outs 17 for any opening day?
3-The game went 13 innings, became a day/night game, but in the end the Reds lost 3 to 1. I think some of the Reds had a mind set they were still in spring training hitting off a tee stand? The Angels are suppose to have poor pitching, but a couple of starters, and worse reliefers, whereas the Reds on paper have the best of both measures. Wed night game next...that should be cool.
4-Reds starting LFer went to sick bay... damaged his right shoulder.
5-The Reds new center fielder provided all the offense one run, with two of the Reds 4 hits.
6- The SOS might want to send the Red's center fielder Shin Soo Choo (obtained from Cleveland) who is from S.Korea... over to N.Korea to practice his bat swing on that little piss-aunt Communist toy soldier leader's head.
