There are real countries in North Africa and in the Middle East and there are nations.
Real Countries: Egypt*, Tunisia*, Monocco and Iran*.
Other Nations in name only: Libya**, Iraq**, Jordon**, Sadia Arabia, Syria**, Bahrain**, Yemen**, Kuwait, Quatr, UAE.
*Where the fight for democracy began in establish countries, somewhat in tune with reality. Moncco exclude for the time being. See comment below on Egypt.
** Where rebellions are underway as we speak. Primarily they are tribal kingdoms which include military rebel leaders and other religious zealots who dictates rules, and enforce their princpless rather than of an organization government per se. These "nations" live by the motto "rule or die".
Comment: "Our" hand off policy in Egypt, could find the Egyption revolution being be a strategic loss for the West. The Muslum Brotherhood and other radicals filled the void. The US sat on its thumbs. This doesn't help our only real ally in region...Israel.
