- In my previous blog, I sort of stopped mid-phrase, last sentence. The sentence began...yes, he is the guy " who was mortally wounded in a duel with Arron Burr". It happened on a ledge overlooking the Hudson River on the New Jersey side called Weehawhen (NJ). He died a day so so later, across the river, in his adopted state of New York.
- Colonel Arron Burr was sort of charged, don't think he spent a day in brig. "Killed his political ambitions. Died 09/14/1836. Exactly 100 years to the day, before my birthday.
- By the way he was earlier the VP for Thomas Jefferson.
