Strategic Vs Tactical Policy

-I hear pp is more determined to leave Afghanistan after the massacre, than ever. That's find to ponder, but as CEO, in this case of the military, one does not have the pleasure to make instant calls as soon as something isn't going right. First the burning of the Koran, not a reoccuring problem, say you are sorry, suck it up and move on. Next an America GI, goes bonkers and takes out 16 or so civilians for no reason other than for the US troops taken out by Afghan military over burning of the Korans. To wrongs don't make a right! That also happens in war and there is obsoletely no amount of appology to overcome this bad act. Maybe the GI should of been in theater of war will pass experiences. Ok that's a bad PR deal, but it does not change the Strategic objectives, not the Tactical mission and certainly not to fold up camp and race for the exits. Iran, Pakistan and Russia have the exits blocked.

-This was the good war per our CEO. He said it many times. pp said this is where Bush should of focused all his attention, not Iraq. The Iraqi war is over Sir you brought the troops home and took credit. But it was you Sir who tripled down of the boots on the ground in afghanistan to replicate the sucessful Bush's Surge in Iraq. In your case it didn't work. Maybe you should of left the top military leaders from Iraq do the replication.

-Moral in the business world, likewise or maybe more so in military world starts with the CEO and works its way down the ranks until it reaches the buck private or janitor. If the CEO has a positiove attitude and buys in 100% has the mission to find sucess. Just to stick your toe in water, to sense the temperature don't hack it Sir. Your Nobel Peace Prize not with standing.

-Case in point, for a CEO to advise the world at the Point a couple years back he was going to surge the troop strength 3X, but then in the same breathing from his mouth tell the cadets, there BOSS will start to be releave the surge troops and others with Afghan troops, police (yet to be identified and trained in < 1 year was blowing hot air out his ass... power of positive thinking, wishful thinking, what ever not will not bring peace to Afghanistan who have been in or at war since bibical times.
