-Ops!!! the German gov't to suspend the subsidy provided their fledging solar power industry because they are getting only a miniscule amount of electric produced. I think they call it ROI, like D of E, Cincinnati Park District and Duke found out found out. Any country above the 45 deg laditude doesn't have too much of desert sunlight, now does it? That's meant to be funny, but its true.
-Do you know the IRS estimates the tax gap: what the taxpayers should pay Vs what they pay is in the $450 B range. Improvement in the tax code that's simple and fair that all 100% of American pay into will help close the tax gap. Forget the 99% Vs 1%class warefare that pp is trying to promote.
_In early 2008-9 the Metro Cincinnati created a board to prioitize what the Metro Area will need by Yr 2020. They gave it a name "Agenda 360". This group got input from thousands of locals (me excluded) here is there agenda:
1 Create 200,000 new jobs of all discipines, in eight years.
2 Create 150,000 jobs for young professionals age 20 thru 34 years old in eight years. Note! this is the group of people the new street car system is to draw the young to and will live within walking distance of a station of the Street Car named "Desire".
3 Lift all residents in the 15 county/ townships, cities and towns out of provity. This is a tall order in Utopia, in just eight years. Its totally impossible even in an LDP world, when this group existed since bibllical times.

Early returns: 1) In the Metro Area noted, by 2011, 61,800 jobs were lost. Now it means 26,000 new jobs/year will have to be created, 2) the young professionals are either staying without jobs, going to graduate school or fleeing to four corners of the world. And 3) that group only got bigger.
